Good reviews
Overall 4.8
Penn State York is a great school. Everyone is so nice, students and staff alike, and the community feels like a family. It may be a majority commuter campus, but with clubs and athletics there are a lot of fun ways to get involved on campus and make friends. The facilities are kept very clean and the campus is beautiful!

Awesome School, great professors and a great place to grow academically.
Overall 4.4
Penn State York is a very enjoyable college to attend. It is kept safe by campus police who are super kind and everyone knows everyone. The professors are really nice and they really want you to succeed.
Overall 4.4
you get to know your prof very well and they get to know you as well. everyone is friendly since it is a small campus.
Overall 4.1
A very peaceful campus with helpful safety resources. Nittany Success Center is a great place for free academic help. Plenty of clubs to choose from, but social opportunities are not quite the same compared to larger campuses since it is an "all commuter" college. Most of the staff and faculty are nice and are willing to help students succeed.

WE ARE PENN STATE! everything about this place screams it!
Bad reviews
Overall 1.7
Nothing to do here. No cafeteria or gym or common area on campus. If you don't want a social life this is the place for you.
Overall 1.9
I've met a lot of bad professors here; there are very few that are good. I chose to go here for the name more than anything and I can easily say that that was a bad decision. Overall, go here for the nice quiet life, small campus which is what I prefer and the students generally are cool. Its the professors that will anger you.
Overall 2
The Penn State York experience depends on your field of study and the quality of education received from those professors. For example, if you have an IQ for "social science" and you strive to become an 'excellent' student, get ready to experience everything that is wrong with an overpriced public institution. Absentee professors in the HDFS dept.

Could be so much more, just an attempt, high schoolish
Overall 2
The campus is small and quiet. The sports teams and clubs exist, but really don't exist (if you know what I mean). The school cafeteria, gym, and rec center are under construction this year meaning that there is limited options for food or fun on campus. You can walk from one end of the campus to the other without hearing a single word.

Campus is small, and there are no dorms. If you have a choice between going to this campus and University Park don't even think about going here. You'll have classes with all the same people, little to no worth while events on campus, and USELESS advisors. I feel cheated out of two years of a true college experience.
