I love Clarion. Youll get out of it what you put in. People may say theres nothing to do but they are the ones that stay in their dorms and dont look for adventures or get involved on campus. The professors are great. You matter in the classes. The size isnt too big or small. There are SO many academic/social opportunities if you take them:)
Overall 4.5
I love campus and it allows me to feel at home. The only negative thing is that a lot of the activities apply to those who live on campus not those who commute.

I had the time of my life at Clarion. It was small enough to meet people and become friends but large enough not to literally be at the same event every weekend. The giant hill was a pain to walk up and i always seemed to run out of meal card for Gemmell but the library was awesome, i was a football player so social life was great, life was good.

The professors are excelent and they are willing to help you.
Overall 4.2
This school has introduced me to some of my best friends. Once you get used to the area, the amount of fun you have is dependent on how hard you try or how outgoing you are.
Overall 4.2
I really do like this school a lot! The class sizes are great, the professors and advisors are very helpful and kind, and overall the atmosphere is just great and makes me feel super comfortable

Not bad overall

I love Clarion! I am in my 6th semester and can't complain much. The area is a bit drab with not much to do, but once you find your niche, you can find things to do. Faculty is very good for the most part with the exception of a few not-so-good professors. Safe campus that I feel like I can walk around at night and I love my classes!

IUP has a much better expierence for me
Overall 1.1
MBA part time online student and disappointed with this program. 3 courses taken and will be transferring. Classes cater toward one learning style, reading. Very little lecture provided. Professors do not have any experience in their fields other than teaching. Classes are busy work, lack substance, and BA level. Outdated learning material.
Overall 1.2
DO NOT attend this school unless you will be commuting from home, or as an international student that expects to focus only on education and have no social life. Clarion does not offer social programs or opportunities that are not associated with academics outside of the classroom. Those in attendance after the year 2012 will agree.
Overall 1.4
Clarion... my freshman year to say the least was fun. There was something going on a lot. After that, it went down hill from there. The food is absolutely dreadful. There are some professors who are helpful. Others that aren't worth thousands of dollars. Diversity sucks. Too much construction. People here are different. ALF is the only excitement!
Overall 1.5
a few years ago they put an email out for kids that didnt have any warm clothes for a winter and sent them to a room with one of the lost in found boxes! They only care about money, this is a state school that is ran like a for profit university.
Overall 1.6
Not Diverse, lack of opportunities and networking. No real social life, CA's are prison guards.
Overall 1.8
None.
Overall 1.9
Clarion was so bad I ended up transferring to another school and on track to graduating on time unlike Clarion where I constantly struggled with little to no help from most professors and facility. During my transferring process it was extremely difficult it was like they didn't want me to leave. Boring. Cold, dark, and depressing like Siberia.
Overall 1.9
This University is terrible because it is filled with people that had to come because of poor SAT scores, and people who are in college to party. You can make it work if you have no other options but that is it.
Overall 2
The administration is more worried about the money and could care less for their students. They are extremely anti-Greek, disconnected from the student body, and not to mention the disgusting over inflated prices!
