Student and Staff Numbers
- Students: The total enrollment at Porter & Chester Institute (all campuses) in 2022 is approximately 2,146 students. However, the specific enrollment for the Hamden campus is 426 students. For a comprehensive total, including all campuses: - **Hamden campus:** 426 students - **Other campuses:** 1,720 students (approximate, based on the difference between the total and the Hamden campus enrollment) Thus, the total enrollment across all campuses is approximately **2,146** students
- Undergraduates: The total enrollment at Porter & Chester Institute (all campuses) in 2022 is approximately 1,393 students, with 967 students at one campus and 426 students at another. However, the exact number of undergraduate students specifically is not provided in the sources. Therefore, an approximate range can be given as 426 to 967 students. For a more precise answer, it is necessary to combine the data from both campuses, but the exact breakdown between undergraduate and graduate students is not detailed in the sources. Thus, the approximate total number of students (both undergraduate and graduate) is 1,393. If we assume a similar distribution between undergraduate and graduate students as in the provided data, we can estimate the range for undergraduate students to be around 700-900 students. However, this is an approximation and should be taken as such
- Administrative Staff: The number of administrative staff at Porter and Chester Institute is not explicitly stated in the provided sources. However, it mentions a list of admissions staff members, which includes 17 names. Therefore, the approximate number of administrative staff could be around 17, but this is not definitive as it only accounts for admissions staff and does not include other administrative roles. For a more accurate count, additional information would be needed

I feel that I must warn people to stay away from Porter and Chester Institute. The administration is extremely difficult to work with. Only one clinical site during the entire 15 month nursing program. It was a self taught program with very little continuity- huge waste of time and money. Disappointed with myself for staying to the end. Hamden

My teacher does not TEACH AT ALL....just reads the book to you. and I cannot learn like this ..there is never ever any paper, its loud, confusing, and never makes any sense. I would never go back to this school I am so upset with the choice I made because the night teacher is amazing and I am getting a raw deal with no education for a ton of money.

Terrible instruction when it happens. Lots of wasted in class time. Not much along the lines of hands on training as advertised. This is for the computer program.
