Great School

I am a transfer student and loving every moment I have on campus. There are tons of facilites for study, easy-internet access, and so many portals for open communication. I chose to live on campus and love it. I am right by the max line, steps away from campus for an easy commute, and have the ability to walk to several business establishments.

I LOVE PSU!!!!
Overall 4.6
I really feel heard by the professors and students. It’s been really nice because I formerly worked in downtown, so the transition to school is great.
Overall 4.5
It is after all one of the most affordable universities in the state

I love PSU. It's an incredible school that is much more inclusive and accessible to a wide variety of people than most universities. I transferred here from UO, and I am much happier here. The people, both faculty & students, are kind and curious. People come from all kinds of backgrounds which makes the school feel more unique and real.
Overall 4.3
I transferred from PCC and I really enjoyed attending the business school for my bachelor. Lots of opportunities for networking and creating relationships. Because business and my focus on Marketing and adman is so collaborative I've fostered some amazing relationships with students and faculty alike.
Overall 4.2
Portland State University is a great place to get an education! There's so many events and clubs to get involved in, and it's easy to make friends. The Portland StreetCar is free for all PSU students, so it makes exploring the city really easy. Majority of the dorms have private bathrooms. There's good places to eat everywhere on & around campus.
Overall 4.2
PSU is a great school but has its share of problems as it is located in Downtown Portland. Most of the safety concerns come from nonstudents and Oregon laws. There are many opportunities to get involved on campus. There are many different student clubs and resource centers for students
Overall 4.2
Online is the way to go, the professors are good and make sure you are well cared for. Portland itself has gone down hill tremendously. Just beware for on campus classes.

Admin can't relate to students. We attend PSU due to low tuition, but it's a high cost of living area. Instead of increasing online classes and support services like BNH, they are forcing students onto campus, extracting more money from them, and cutting classes. Enrollment will drop until the admin focus on educational value, access, and staffing.

This school is an absolute JOKE
Overall 1.4
This school is horrible. I made a mistake coming here. Not a safe campus as well. Professors don't care about their students.
Overall 1.4
I regret putting the money in this place. The administration is unprofessional and lackluster, they overcharge everything, the social life is abysmal, and the work is unending. There’s no passion in this place, it is stark and cruel. There is no room for change or growth in this school, just assimilation of how the administration handles you.
Overall 1.4
it is in downtown portland (enough said) and run by people who are out of touch with reality.
Overall 1.5
You have to remember that this is an in city campus so theres weirdos outside buildings and on campus. I have the worst counselors they wont help change you be successful finding internships. I also changed my major and I asked how and my current advisor said they didnt know how... so I figured it out myself. Btw No stable wifi
Overall 1.6
In a gloomy, unsafe environment, professors who do not teach, and a divisive culture, PSU is a joke. The homeless problem is very present on campus, with numerous cover-ups of bad actions, and a severe lack of con campus security guarantees that your car will be broken into. Do not come here if you want a good university or college experience.
Overall 1.6
Honestly, I regret going here. All they care about is money. There are some professors that are great, but a lot more who are awful, with no experience in the field they teach, horribly out-of-date or just plain false information, and a disinterest in teaching. Many classes are taught by underpaid part-time adjuncts. Many students drop out.
Overall 1.6
Very sad campus and atmosphere. Its clear the faculty and professors don't care about students. This is A DEGREE MILL FOR BUSINESS MAJORS AND GATEKEEPING CENTRAL FOR CS
Overall 1.7
I'm sad to say that after finishing my degree in Business Management, the biggest thing that I have taken away from this school is that it's been a waste of money. The school does not care about you as a student. The location is horrible & not safe -- homeless people walking through school buildings picking through trash bins. It's just bad.
