The best in the whole world
Overall 4.7
It has the best reputation because it deserves it. You better be ready to work.

Professors are very strict with the assignments and participation in class, but it's understandable because they want you to learn and think more. I am interior design major. IM NOT GETTING A LOT OF BORING THEORY HERE BUT I LEARN AN EFFICIENT WAY OBSERVING AND ANALYZING LIKE AN INTERIOR DESIGNER. As a Design and art school, Pratt does a good job.

Transferred from the Utica campus. The Utica campus was downright awful but here it has been the complete opposite. Workload is challenging but in a good way in that the design work that I've made here is the best I've done in my life so far. Professors here are very helpful and have very impressive experience in their respective industries.

Pratt really gave me everything I could ask for and more as an undergraduate fine arts major. The professors are some of the most knowledgeable people I've ever met and have solidified my confidence in an artistic career post graduation. I'm about to graduate in one semester, and I already am dreading how much I'll miss the studios and the people.

Pratt has a very high reputation overall. At least in Industrial Design Area. I love my school.

Pratt is such an amazing school!! Class sizes are the best part. You will meet your best friends here and the campus is absolutely gorgeous. Food is not the best but you have all of NYC around you with all the food you could ever want. :)

The school doesn't care about student. They don't provide a friendly community and well education. Many students transferred to other schools. Some of faculties are not friendly and doesn't have empathy! They almost made students got depression.
Overall 1.5
I left Pratt Institute's Architecture program after a year. The curriculum felt outdated, lacking modern tech integration. Resources were insufficient and outdated. The program overemphasized traditional methods, neglecting innovation. Attempts to address these issues with administration weremet with indifference, making studentfeedbackfeelignored.
Overall 1.5
Personel was not accommodating students was short tempered rude. Health services where terrible specially psychological aid, people left having anxiety atacks In the painting programme students would get often accosted by teachers. many of whom FELT PROUD THAT THEY MADE STUDENTS DROP OUT OF PAINTING BFA.
Overall 1.6
I hated every second of being here.

illustrators need not apply
There will be one, singular, illustration focused class your junior year. Mainly you will be taking nonsense electives or GRAPHIC DESIGN COURSES. What pratt is not advertising is that they combined illustration and graphic design into the same thing. They are not. The majority of your time at Pratt you wont be thriving.

The teching style is kind old.
Overall 1.7
The teching style is kind old. Some department are great, but others are horrible.
Overall 2
The education can be very good, but the actual living conditions (food, dorms, studios) are horrible. Food poisoning, rats, mold, etc. No sense of community and little networking/job opportunities. Harassment and assault not given proper attention. No regard for students of color despite being in NYC.
