I want to transfer to this school SUNY PURCHASE for Performing Arts.
Overall 4.5
The MFA program at Purchase is fantastic. Proximity to NYC means top professors and visiting artists, many of whom also teach/have taught at the elite school$ in the city, SUNY is a fraction of the cost. The facilities are top notch and you are close enough to the city to commute. Local housing is not great. If you get in ask students re: Apt.

I adore this school
Overall 4.4
I was super indecisive about where to go to college, and choosing Purchase was the best decision I ever made. The Literature professors are so caring about their students they feel like family. I walk out of class every day, in every subject, feeling like I've really learned something. Beautiful campus, amazing professors, great food (at Terra Ve).
Overall 4.3
This school is dope. The social scene is great, the classes are good (and relatively easy), and it's only 30 minutes away from NYC. The campus architecture is prisonesque, however, it does not seem to bother most of the students. While it does not bother me, this campus is also very liberal.
Overall 4.3
I absolutely love this school! I love the atmosphere, the positivity, the acceptance level, and it's the perfect place to go if you're gay!
Overall 4.2
I absolutely love it here, one of the best decisions I've ever made was coming here. It's a very quality education, has amazing classes and there are a lot of things to do almost every day (when you're not in class). Professors are very qualified and classes are small. You get to know your professors one-on-one, you're recognized as an individual.
Overall 4.2
Transferred here from CUNY and they took almost all of my credits. Purchase makes me excited that I decided to go back to school. I consider this college a reward for the two years I attended CUNY. Staff is on point, professors are amazing, and the student body is flooded with creative minds. Very inspiring atmosphere.

Purchase is a very special place :)
Bad reviews
Overall 1
This college is the worst. The vibe is super quirky and the students arent really sociable. The food is gross and the campus is not clean.

worst school that ever existed. transferred out

This school does not feel like a college. It feels more like a high school. Everyone is super cliquey and fake. The professors arent as good. The food is disgusting. Living on campus is horrific. I recommend that everyone transfer and go to a different school like I am. If your not part of any conservatories why are you even here?
Overall 1.1
This school is so bad if you are not apart of any of the conservatories why are you here to begin with. Purchase, doesnt even feel like a college. Its more like a high school. You can literally see that everyone is cliquey. Hard to make friends here. Location is isolating. Please save your time and money and transfer to another school like I did.
Overall 1.2
Honestly just terrible. Don't go there unless you want to have no fun and want to be treated like a baby. The sports are terrible, like literally win about 5 games a year in all the sports combined, and there is nothing fun to do on campus. Unless you are a dance major, it is 100% not worth it.
Overall 1.2
Not the best school out there. If you're thinking about going here.. you can do better. The students are cliquey, the food kinda sucks, the only good thing is that you're near a target and (in my own experience) I haven't had a bad professor. Save yourself the struggle and find a different school.
Overall 1.2
This school is trash.
Overall 1.4
A school that doesn't take care of their students. Residents halls should not pass inspection with the amount of mold, fires, and hazards that are on campus. A rude faculty that doesn't have communicating departments to run campus and health services that aren't reliable. UPD beats students and covers it up and the Dean doesn't care about her kids
Overall 1.4
I am not happy about staying this college because many professors are very lazy, disorganized and useless. I have three professors this semester and two of them are worst. One of them, he forgot to make the midterm exam and another professor always send us HW's instruction by email the day before the class. I do not lean anything.
Overall 1.4
Worst college ever.
