coming into campus you start to realize how friendly everyone is. and the proffesors actually want you to pass their course
Overall 4.8
Radford is a really great school with great opportunities for its students. I love the location and just everything about this school. Everyone is so kind and motivational.
Overall 4.8
Radford has been on the rise this past year to the newer buildings and more restaurants and opportunities outside of school. This year we became big south champs making our school more recognized the best is yet to come
Overall 4.6
Going here for grad school. Has a great Counselor Education program. The campus is beautiful and the people are friendly. Easy to get around even if you don't have a car because there is Radford Transit.
Overall 4.6
I love being a highlander alum. Small enough campus you see someone you know whenever you are on campus. Dorm life is great. Small enough classes you know your teacher, but can also miss a class or two and not be noticed. Beautiful campus. Parties are dope, but there's tons to do if you're not into the party scene.
Overall 4.5
Radford is great.
Overall 4.4
Feels like home. everyone cares. great opportunities if you want them.
Bad reviews
Overall 1.2
Poor quality of education, facilities, internet, and food. Professors are not helpful or kind. Frat school so its difficult to make friends unless you're apart of a club. Claims diversity but it's not inclusive. If you are different they will make sure that you know it and feel it. Worst mistake I've ever done and a complete waste of time.
Overall 1.4
Short due to 350 char max -Incompetent staff -Incredibly greedy/Shady practices -School takes zero responsibility for any wrongdoing -Internet goes down for hours at a time -Admins are hostile to good profs while refusing to rid bad ones -Worrying number of shootings and violence in the immediate area -Food will give you diarrhea -Crap housing
Overall 1.6
The campus is small. I was threatened several times in my two years here. Despite reporting each incident several times, nothing was done except telling me that if I reported another incident, then I would get kicked out of my dorm. I was also assaulted on campus and the Title IX office was not really known about so I did not know where to go
Overall 1.6
If you want to meet the worst people ever, go for it. The Athletic Department is such a business, they don't care about you are your well being. Leave, it's the best thing you'll ever do.
Overall 1.6
I would not recommend Radford University to anyone who wants to have fun during college. Period. -limited food -SMALL town -frat parties are bad-gets old , quick Im leaving to go to another school and never looking back!
Overall 1.7
If you want any sort of life outside of campus, this is not the school for you. I think going there was one of the worst decisions I've ever made. That being said, I met some great professors that seemed to genuinely care about my growth as a student and just a person. The other students weren't mean per se, but weren't particularly friendly either
Overall 1.7
there are about 7 places to eat on campus, they all close very early so if you don't eat an early dinner you are screwed, on weekends 2 places are open.
