I am really happy with Rio Salado College. I am majoring in Spanish and the professors are always there for me. Everything I do is online but it is really convenient. I was so happy to find this program. I love it.

This school has been great overall!

I've seen many bad reviews for Rio, only after finishing my first semester. Granted, all the bad reviews are from years ago, 2012-2017ish. I happen to like rio salado a lot! I think online school is meant for a certain type of person. It presents you with information, for you to read/ study, and then you are given assignments in which to apply it.

The Rio Salado College in Tempe AZ is a great college. Ever since I started taking my classes online at Rio - I've been able to advance and complete my classes at a faster pace which means I'll get to graduate sooner. Using the RioLearn website for my classes is very easy and practical - This college helps you achieve your career degree faster!

Online classes are what you make it. Plan, plan, plan and set your own deadlines because it'll help alot. Do NOT be afraid to ask questions about anything! If you are looking for the 'college life', this is not it.

Horrible school. You end up paying just as much as you would for an in-person class, but the teachers always act bothered to help, and it's impossible to get a hold of any faculty members or department chairs if you have an issue. MCCCD schools push you to go there, but it is really awful. What a joke. Terrible experience. Can't say it enough.

Worst school in the state of Arizona. Save yourself. Took Calc and none of the material in "lecture" videos was relevant to the test. The professor was also clueless and didn't help. Took Calc at ASU and completely different experience. Waste of money and time at Rio Salado. Disgusting excuse for a college.

This school is a JOKE! I pay for my tuition completely out of pocket, as I do not qualify for grants or waivers. I pay out of state tuition costs on top of that, and this school does nothing, but allow me to self teach. When you try to reach out for help or a better understanding of material you are presented with, the feedback is completely vague.

Took online CHM138 (got an A)... Horrible educational experience!! NO interaction with classmates is allowed (per syllabus); Online lessons filled with errors and could not be used; No instructor lectures and very little feedback; 12-14 day turn around on barely graded assignments. I paid this college to teach MYSELF organic/bio chem. Waste of $$.

Don't even bother. Most teachers are atrocious. (i.e. Kimberly Hunley) If you see her name, drop out. If you don't believe me, go ahead. Take her course. Mindless essays after mindless essays. I don't know how Rio Salado hire their teachers but something has to change. I think they just hire teachers out of nowhere just because they have degrees.

this is the worst maricopa college ive been to. Avoid it at all costs if you can. I unfortunately couldnt and had to resort to taking some classes there

I would avoid this place at all costs. They are unfriendly, unhelpful and unorganized. I am not sure what type of student this college would be beneficial for, but I can tell you that it is not adult/online learners... which is strange since this is SUPPOSED to be an online college that works with your schedule. 100% not the case.
