I love this school
Overall 5
I live in the Coachella Valley and have attended College of the desert previously and decided to transfer to RCC since it had more opportunities to finish faster with Norco & Moreno Valley campuses. Great school, location, and by far very helpful counselors. I would recommend any campus at RCC!
Overall 5
Very clean and comfortable school, the only bad thing is the parking structure is to crowded.
Overall 5
Awesome school but parking is horrible
Overall 5
I read google reviews about the people complaining about parking. This is my second semester going fulltime and I have never had a problem finding a parking spot. I start from the furthest point and take the first spot I see. I believe all the people who are complaining are lazy and want to park in the very front. Walking is good for you.
Overall 5
Awesome school faculty is amazing especially the EOPS staff.
Bad reviews
Overall 1.3
Very overcrowded, faculty competes for funding, most school funds go to athletes, no weekend accommodations for F/T, must be in a program to get decent registration. Parking is DANGEROUS, i've almost been hit 2x b/c no stop signs at entrance of structure. Student government has their own agenda, could care less about solidarity
Overall 1.4
No one answers their emails. No one answers the phone. And In order to get decent classes that you need to graduate you would need to have been consistently registered here for at least a year as a full time student. This was all in COVID btw.
Overall 1.4
only came for food
Overall 1.5
Not to be rude but, the intelligence of the students here is mind boggling. The average test grades are in the 40s, the quality of writing in HONORS English is tragic. Basic grammar is unknown to a majority of students, I feel bad for the professors for having to teach students at this level. I am just waiting for the day I get to transfer....
Overall 1.6
The school does not have enough parking
Overall 1.6
Crowded old unused buildings , dangerous parking situation, very little lighting, no security compared to the Norco campus, not left with many options for registering if not part of their programs. Some club advisers use clubs for a flex pay check and ditch them. No healthy food, great programs if you qualify
Overall 1.9
If your looking for a good campus look elsewhere! I've been to the other surrounding colleges due to work. CHC is a much cleaner campus and has a more accommodating staff. SBV is friendlier. If your trying to do a walk in to see a counselor they will tell you to come in at 8 and close it immediately saying max of 25 when you saw 15 before you.
Overall 1.9
Horrible parking, counselors give bad advice. Can only get decent registration if part of their programs which you have to qualify for but if you do they offer great book lending and vouchers. Awesome garden and library. Athletics and nursing gets most funding. ASRCC is has a few cliques and very unwelcoming.
Overall 2
Registration is only easy if you get in a support program. This institution lacks any support for middle-class families that wouldn't qualify for FAFSA. I'd strongly advise you to join the campus Honors program to receive a priority registration so that you can get your classes without jeopardizing your schedule. Parking is horrendous so be aware.
