Rock Valley is a wonderfully well organized and clean school to attend. The campus is gorgeous if you actually take the time to look around. Everything is well kept. Students are generally friendly and professors are incredibly wise and knowledgable in their field. The administration is super helpful in any aspect. I love my school. :)

The student atmosphere is amazing and the professors are all super helpful! The InterVarstity club is the coolest group of students on campus, definitely consider joining if you are looking to get to know people at RVC!!
Overall 4.5
This school has everything you need from a community college. Low cost, variety of classes, options, certificates, etc. The majority of the teachers here truly care about your success and will go out of their way to directly connect with students if the student makes it known they need further assistance. Great experience for my associate degree.
Overall 4.5
A great school for anyone in the area. They have many degrees that transfer to larger four year colleges. Affordable, nice looking campus, and the STEM departments are top notch!
Overall 4.5
The only department I would say needs more improvement is Financial Aid, I don't know if it was just the student worker who helped me or FA in general but they messed up my FA which took a few months to fix. Otherwise is a beautiful clean campus I feel safe at, plenty of resources and everyone is friendly.
Overall 4.3
I have attended Rock Valley part time for a few years now and I think it’s a great college to knock some classes out at for a cheaper rate!

Bad reviews
Overall 1.7
It seems that only the teachers actually care about their students at Rock Valley College. Some teachers aren't that caring either. Most staff (Not teachers) are argumentative and do not want to help. Most of the advisers are no help either. The financial aide office is a mess too, they are all over the place and most of them are rude.
Overall 2
very few food options, parking is crowded and awful, nonsocial students.

Do your homework on the professor before choosing a class, this place will literally hire anyone.
