Rose-Hulman, a gem of a school, is situated in the Midwest amidst cornfields and urban blight. You don't come to Rose for Terre Haute, you come for the incredible professors, the super-smart peers, and the opportunities offered here. With an internship after my freshman year, research opportunities, and a double minor--Rose challenges and rewards!

It is a very very nice Engineering University
Overall 4.7
Rose is awesome. The only downside is the location.
Overall 4.6
Great school and community, it is definitely more work when compared to other schools, but the opportunities and community makes up for it.
Overall 4.6
I honestly love Rose and all the people here. Some profs are certainly better than others and it's a very hard school but well worth it. Switched majors winter quarter of my first year but it was nothing against Rose. If anything, Rose just helped me to realize that I'm happier doing something different in life than I'd originally thought
Overall 4.6
Greatest engineering school ever.
Overall 4.5
Terre Haute isn't exactly the most poppin city in the world, but mostly everything you need is on campus anyway. Great greeklife system. Heavy focus on academics so studying takes up a good amount of time, but there's always things to do with free time. Safety is not at all an issue. Could use more dining options, but the food isn't bad.
Overall 4.5
Rose-Hulman provides students with abundant opportunities to succeed personally and professionally. The academic environment is challenging, and sets up graduates for success after school. Since the campus is located in Terre Haute, Indiana, it is important to become involved in activities/ clubs on campus. Thankfully, it is very easy to do this!
