Academics

• How do I log into Navigate?

  • To log into Navigate, visit rccc.navigate.eab.com. Navigate uses single-sign on, so use your Rowan-Cabarrus username and password.

• How often is the data in Navigate updated?

  • Data in Navigate is pulled from Rowan-Cabarrus’ data warehouse nightly. Any changes made to a student’s record in WebAdvisor will be reflected in Navigate the following day.

• What is the 65% point of the semester/term for withdrawing from a class?

  • This is the deadline in which a student or instructor is allowed to submit a request for withdrawal from any course. The 65% date for each semester can be found on the Academic Calendar. Students will receive a final grade of “W” on their student academic record, as long as any withdrawal is received on or before the 65% point.

• Will the grade of “W” impact my GPA?

  • No. The hours attempted will not be calculated in the student Grade Point Average (GPA).

Registration and Advising

• Who is my advisor?

  • Log into WebAdvisor. Select the “Students Menu” and then on “My Profile”. You may also contact the front desk at either of the Navigation Station locations.

• How do I change my major?

  • Complete and submit the program change form to the admissions office.

Campus Environment

• Where are the Admissions and Registrar’s Offices located?

  • On-Boarding & Student Success Strategies (Admissions), North Campus, Building N101. Registrar’s Offices, North Campus, Building N101 and South Campus, Building S201.

• Where can I find a list of classes for each semester?

  • You may view the entire listing from My Navigator by selecting Search for Courses (located on the Student Menu).

Daily Life and Support

• Can I visit the Tutoring Center on-campus or online?

  • Rowan-Cabarrus staff tutors are available on North and South Campus, as well as online through Microsoft Teams, during regular hours.

• Is tutoring free?

  • Yes Tutoring is free of charge to students currently enrolled in classes at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College.

Financial Aid

• Will my financial aid be affected if I withdraw from a class or from all of my classes?

  • Any student receiving financial aid is strongly encouraged to seek advice from the financial aid office prior to withdrawing from any course. Dropping or officially withdrawing from a course may affect financial aid eligibility and/or repayment of assistance previously credited to a student account or disbursed by refund.

• How do I receive my financial aid or school refunds?

  • Rowan-Cabarrus Community College has partnered with BankMobile to offer faster delivery of refunds to students. BankMobile will provide increased choice for receiving your financial aid or school refunds.
