Suny Adirondack is an excellent college and employs some of the best IT professors in the state. Suny Adirondack is located in a very scenic and accessible location, provides quality studies and facilities, includes a wide range of clubs and organizations, and is very affordable. The professors and staff are always extremely helpful and friendly.

Adirondack Community College or SUNY Adirondack is an excellent school. There are ample opportunities to attend events sponsored by the school as well. The location is convenient and the commute is short. I recommend this school to anyone in the Queensbury area. The tuition is a bit expensive for a community college, but well worth it.

Loved attending school here. Transferred to HVCC to finish my degree when I moved closer to that school.

Food could use working on, but there is a board for you to make recommendations, and they actually listen! Classes are decent, definitely iffy with some professors especially with certain subjects such as math and art. Dorming is fun, you start to become a family in a way. Internet is far better than that of country internet. Overall good place! :)

Their dorms and food options need a lot more work, but the people were friendlier than anywhere I've ever lived. There was always something to do both on campus and off. Off campus food options were abundant. Recommend having a vehicle if you dorm here, bus routes aren't great. Not a great place to walk to a job/get groceries.

ACC is an awesome place to start out! It's cheap and you meet people from all over the north country, from North Hudson to Albany!!!There's always something interesting going on, no matter when or where. You just have to open your eyes!

Stressful. You know theres a problem when your barely getting by with low Bs and Cs in several courses when you got As at an actual 4 year selective university- which makes no sense. Many of the instructors were rigid, unwilling to work with you to see you succeed and have no accountability. Dont expect to get ahead here or get opportunities.

Avoid going here

Have found that they do not take serious matters seriously. I will not go in depth, but I am transferring after one year because of feeling like no one cared about my safety. Some of the professors are fantastic, but others not so much. The people seem to want to be anywhere but here. Cool outings like going to the city or Salem.. but too few and far

Good Nursing program. But 90% of SUNY universities will treat degree related credits as general electives. Student Government spends every year reversing the previous year's decision on speed bumps. Yes one year, no the next. Spending school money every year to do so. The school is a joke. However, there are some wonderful professors.

Unhappy place

Lets just say, I only lived on campus and attended the school for one semester until I transferred. I shouldn't have saved a penny and should have went to a private school. This school is nothing but trouble (in the dorms) and for anyone coming from a DIVERSE urban location, think twice before attending.
