I graduated here I loved it! I really wish I came here sooner! The online option to complete my degree was awesome. The professors where awesome to deal with. Tons of parking. I loved how there was different buildings for each class.

People don't always give SUNY Broome enough credit based on location. However this is an amazing school with great opportunity to move forward. Anyone would be smart to start their college education off here!
Overall 4.4
This campus is safe and well maintained! They have alot of opportunities for students.
Overall 4.3
There is a lot of great opportunities here. As long as you reach out to both the professors and staff in student services you’ll go far. If you want something more don’t expect it to come to you. Show the staff here you want to do great and they may go out of their way without being asked, but your best bet is to use what’s available.

I enjoyed my experience at SUNY Broome. Most of my professors were nice and helpful. In my opinion, the dining hall could be better. Most of food in the dining hall was decent quality but some of the food was way to greasy and made me loose my appetite.
Overall 4.1
I had a wonderful first semester here. The faculty and staff were helpful and inviting, the other students were sociable and easy to get along with. The facilities are well maintained with great parking available. The only improvements I can voice an opinion on is the cafeteria and mens locker room in the sports wing.

Only thing nice about this school is the advantage program with binghamton university, Would not recommend besides that.

Sucks
Overall 1.4
Teachers and staff barely know what their job is or how to do it.
Overall 1.5
I love my classes & all my professors. But I have to say, I absolutely hate living in the dorms. It has been the worst experience of my life. The kids that are in the dorms (mostly city kids) are super disrespectful and they have no care in the world if you're trying to sleep. Also the fire alarm goes off almost everynignt. I wouldn't recommend it

Terrible... but a great place to start out.

After being at BCC for my first semester in the fall, i knew after 2 weeks i wanted out. The general atmosphere is dreary. The people are grumpy all the time, which then in return makes myself irritable. I do not suggest to go here if you are expecting to be smiling and want to see the sun shine.
Overall 1.6
Staff is mostly apathetic, along with the students. The parking lot is incredibly dangerous and lacking stop signs everywhere.
Overall 1.6
Our first day here we were taught on how to defend against a shooter. People attack people of different races. My academic advisor couldn't add up my credits correctly. I overall do not feel safe here and most of the other students do not care about their studies.
Overall 1.6
Do not eat the food in the cafeteria. Don't bother trying to use the computers because it takes 10 minutes just to log on. Dorms are kinda gross. Such a small school. On the bright side, the professors can be really great and if you commute you don't have to be there so often which is key lol. So happy to be leaving next semester.
