Great school

I wouldn't want to be attending college anywhere else. SUNY Canton has such a positive environment and the people here are amazing.

this is a good college

School is pretty good. Criminal Justice is a great program here and easy. Only thing is, the security here is a little bit overboard.
Overall 4.1
Everything at SUNY Canton is pretty good but the greek life is absolutely toxic. Do not join any fraternities or sororities unless you want to lose friends and get into cinstant drama and belittle your non-greek friends

Where to start. This isn't going to be an essay, instead I'll list some bullet points you might find helpful. - Food is dull and tasteless with no variety. - facilities such as gym and the library are okay. Not as big as I would like, but clean and well kept. - NOT a party school fyi - Most classes are online and you will likely be forced to them

Be extra careful crossing the roads, cars will not stop for you even though there is a crosswalk.

I gave 1's since I can't answer a lot of these cause i'm an online student, however this place is garbage go elsewhere. Administrative staff is ok, The educational staff feels entitled and is nasty, zero guidance if you need help, zero interaction from online professors, zero all around save yourself the money and find a real school
Overall 1.4
If you dont have a car good luck getting anywhere you need to go. None of the dorms or main building are connected and the dining hall is completely out of the way on campus and all down hill making it dangerous in the winter.
Overall 1.5
Nothing to do at this place. Half the students here shouldn't be here; it's a shame they will accept anyone who is willing to pay for college. Canton is poorly run and everything on campus including classes are below than the SUNY system averages. A lot of students are doing their time here and getting out of Canton, including me.
Overall 1.6
There is absolutely nothing to do on campus. The only off campus activity is to go to a movie. Too many people get accepted into the school that shouldn't be.
Overall 1.7
Very small campus. Not diverse at all; I'd say the majority of people are white. Few clubs to be involved in and is absolutely not commuter friendly. The food is disgusting. The only good thing about Canton is that the faculty are AMAZING. They truly care about their students and will go out of their way to help them succeed.

The faculty are poor, the student body is awful, and don't waste time on any of the clubs. This is the worst college I have ever been to and the sad reality is that all of the local towns know it. It has the worst turn over rate, contrary to the lies that the faculty tell their students.
