I've studied at the school for my undergrads. The school environment is great, and it provides job fairs for us to seek jobs and internships.

I just love San Jose State. I met some of the most amazing, caring and intelligent people here. My professors/mentors/advisers all had a lasting impact on my life. Thank you!

Pretty good school, put in the effort and you will do well

I think this SJSU offers multiple career paths along with a sense of belonging. Perhaps I am a transfer student, so I didn't have to "deal" with GE instructors. I don't think some students have graded SJSU fairly. All the tools are given/provided in this educational institution, but it's up to YOU having to look for them. Overall great experience!
Overall 4.5
SJSU Engineering Technology, Computer Network System Management focus is a ehh. 10% of faculty is excellence, 60% good, 30% is a joke. The 30% comes from Tech lower division, DO NOT TAKE IT here, take it from community college, transfer here. However a lot of Tech groups, they knew the issues, they will help you learn materials rather from profs
Overall 4.4
Decent school and is very enjoyable. I believe this is one of the most up-to-date schools, pushing students into the workforce due to the schools proximity to Silicon Valley and a surplus of professional sports teams.

Only attend San Jose State if you have no other options. The campus is located in a bad neighborhood that is riddled with crime. There is a shortage of housing, which is also very expensive due to the high demand. Be prepared to pay approximately $1500-$2000 a month to live on or near campus. Commuter school with a 6-year graduation rate of 65%…

i study computer science and go to classes that have nothing to do with woke ideology. yet somehow they still manage to shove it into there.

You need to be totally stupid to say getting a degree at this university was worth your time. You will not find a job by getting a degree from this school regardless of what you major in. Think of this university as cheap tuition, which yields into no output. This university resembles a cold environment where nobody has interest in success.
Overall 1
Regardless of what your major is, this university will guarantee you a job called, "unemployed". The environment here is horrific with many administrators, professors, and students being unmotivated to succeed. It's a total waste of time and money to attend this university. Just go here if you want to set yourself up for failure.
Overall 1
Bad commuter university. Administration and most faculty here do not care about students. Majority of students are unmotivated to succeed and learn. Students in all majors will struggle to find jobs after graduation or move to graduate schools. University surroundings, infrastructures, and student involvement are poor. I don't recommend this place
Overall 1.4
Terrible campus and DC food. The campus is usually dead on weekends and is socially dead unless you're in Greek life. Although the student population is diverse, since it is a commuter school, most people are closed off compared to other places. Would not recommend going here if you want to be happy in college.
Overall 1.6
Do not go here. Do yourself a favor and go to SCSU or somewhere in SoCal. Every week someone would get shot in front of the school and the whole campus is just ghetto.
Overall 1.6
The food is bad/expensive, faculty is bad for Engineering department they don't care about students at all. Campus it's ok except the engineering building.
Overall 1.7
Some students are smart and hard work, but most professors don't care about students. The school only cares about faculty. Some professors in the Marketing Department treat students poorly, and the school lets them do whatever they want, saying that's "flexibility". If you are an honor student, don't come here, your academic records will be ruined.
Overall 1.8
School is in half abandoned are of San Jose. Bad research opportunties. Facilities are full of problems (leaking sewage, elevators down, ceilings falling, garbage, filth, and run-down). Internet always has problems. Mentally ill people terrorize campus often. You will pretend to gather data from broken equipment and sit through incoherent lectures.
