I love this location, professors are great. Preparation for transfer is perfect.
Overall 4.7
Pros: diverse, inclusive, kind community. Incredible professors. Great location. 10/10 clubs and programs. Tons online classes. ONLY if u qualify for TRIO, access to v supportive advisors.
Cons: No night classes. Worst thing about SCC is that fin aid is completely useless & unreachable. They made massive mistakes with my funding multiple times.
Overall 4.5
The school is very diverse, so that is a great thing. There are some amazing teachers here, that really care about you and your success and then their are those teachers, who show up burnt out. The administration is horrible to deal with, if you can survive them, classes will be seem like a walk in the park

Amazing givin the circumstances.

Student Leadership at this campus is far beyond the other Seattle Colleges. The clubs on campus are amazing and appeal to so many different groups. There's a club for almost everything and if it doesn't already exist, you can easily create one! There are also lots of resources as well. Overall, it's a great experience!

Seattle Central College pushed me to consider driving my car off of the Jose Rizal Bridge. The Financial Aid Dept is not helpful, never answers phone/email. This school thrives on financial aid not functioning. Profs are hit or miss. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. This place would be a good school if you are studying unprofessionalism.

not it
Overall 1.3
Not helpful at all. Staff will direct you to one place, and that person will redirect you as well. Advising was a joke. I transferred here from North Seattle College, and after dealing with the people here, I am half tempted to go back. Never been more disappointed.
Overall 1.5
Not the best.
Overall 1.5
Some of the people here are phenomenal, but some of them treat their students like garbage. Don't bother studying because in many cases you're going to get a bad grade anyways. Unfortunately, the teachers don' t seem to get held to any standards. Some of the faculty will ignore your emails.
Overall 1.7
If you want a good education, go elsewhere. Generally more difficult coursework than is appropriate for this type of school, and with mediocre professors that leads to less understanding and worse grades on top of very little in guidance from advisors or professors. It's a good deal financially, but don't expect much and be prepared to go it alone.
Overall 1.8
Don't count on the school to give clear guidance on what's needed to graduate. I had numerous advising appointments and was given conflicting information. I was pursuing a degree that was eliminated partway through my education, and it was never communicated to me that my degree was no longer available. I succeeded in spite of the school. Don't go.
Overall 1.8
It's really sad how far downhill this school has slid over the last decade. Advising and Administration is a real nightmare with staff that are totally indifferent and will do anything to get you out of their office as fast as possible and do as little work as they can get away with. Teaching staff ranges from excellent to really really bad.
Overall 1.8
Only go here if you can't afford better. A good place to get pre-reqs or enough credits to transfer.

The school and culture reflects the location which the campus resides - Broadway - which is grimy and depressing. Everyone smokes cigarettes and produces and aura of death. Would not recommend this school unless you want to learn among dead end students working in restaurants and possibly get cancer from the 2nd hand smoke.
