I love this Christian, small community. Faith school! You will be easily admitted to the school and most majors offered here(few exceptions). But a lot of STEM major are quite challenging, even harder than UW. Make sure you stay on track and pass everything bc a lot of classes here only offered once a year. Don’t be shy to talk with professors:)

Awesome school with even better people.

SPU is an amazing school, I love SPU. I have a very great opportunity to study, exercise, meet Jesus. Campus is very beautiful. I love the people. Theatre program is really big in SPU. God must have directed me to SPU.
Overall 4.7
A home away from home. Everyone want's you to succeed and will support you all the way through graduation and beyond. Such a warm hearted environment.
Overall 4.7
Great school. So many happy and caring profs. and students. Location is close to everything you'd need!
Overall 4.6
SPU is easily one of the best places you could receive an education. The environment is very conducive to learning, in large part because the professors care. Not just about their research, they care about us, the students. I challenge you to find a more dedicated, warm hearted faculty.
Overall 4.5
SPU is a great School in the heart of Seattle! The food gets a bit repetitive, but it makes up for that with a quality social and academic environment and a faculty and staff focused on helping students succeed.
Overall 4.5
The school is right next to the city of Seattle, WA. If you can't find something to do that's your fault. The majority of the professors are great, and almost all class sizes are small. This is the 3rd school I have been to and this has by far the best community. The food is great, it is one of the top rated cafeterias in the states. Don't miss out
Overall 4.5
Wonderful campus. Definitely rates better than any other Seattle college.

great place!
Bad reviews
Overall 1.2
horrible place, worst year of my life. They misrepresent themselves online and on tours- the school pretends to be progressive and is actually disgustingly intolerant.
Overall 1.6
I thought Christians were supposed to be loving and friendly to all? Well definitely not the Christians at SPU..
Overall 1.8
There are better private religious schools if that is what you want. UW / any state University will have better food, facilities, sports, clubs, and will be way more diverse. SPU has a terrible community- so spoiled and immature.. just ruins the college experience
Overall 1.9
Took a gap year then came here. Freshmen are wildly immature and act like they're still in high school. There are very few things to do on campus if you're not into God and church. Impossible to make friends after first quarter. Dining options are laughable. The teachers care and make an effort. I will not be coming back for my second year.
Overall 1.9
As someone that transferred from another university, this place is trashy. Most students are snobby and struggle socially. The clubs are small and cliquey nerds. The rooms and resources provided make this place feel like a high school. Professors don't care and/or are bullied by the students for not being prepared enough. Only here for the degree.
Overall 1.9
Great school.. if you are a spoiled brat, super liberal, and a fake Christian.
Overall 1.9
If I could go back and 'do it all over again', knowing what I know now about this school, I would never have chosen to go here. The professors are very hit and miss and the choices for classes you are required to take are SO limited. I am also convinced that the majority of my tuition was going towards the landscaping throughout the campus.
Overall 1.9
I would not recommend transferring here. It feels impossible to make friends. Course offerings stink; some required courses for my major are only offered once every other year. The guys here are super feminine.. School only caters to one type of person. If you are not sheltered, fake, very.. Christian, avoid at all costs.
Overall 1.9
If you hate diversity and have only gone to private Christian schools your whole life, this school may be for you. If you loved high school so much, you wish you could do another 4 years of it, this school may be for you. If you would rather play on facebook than listen and be respectful to your professors, this school is for you.
Overall 2
Go to a state university. It will be more of a college experience, you will have a better time, and receive a better education.. not to mention, it will be much cheaper.
