I am a current senior undergrad student here at Seton Hill. It's not too far from Pittsburgh for a day trip, and the view from the hill is beautiful. The professors and the staff are so helpful and kind as well. If you want parties all the time and little education, I recommend either PennWest Cal or IUP.....

Some students dont want the major college experience you get at state schools. I didnt want to go to a state school because I was scared of what could happen. SHU is the best fit for me. You need to tour the place before you bash it. And if you dont like it then why did you even bother applying?

Wonderful school that offers its students great opportunities.

As a smaller woman, Ive never felt unsafe on campus. The campus police are a blessing. Theyre amazing individuals who go above and beyond to help students with anything from a car that needs a jumpstart or a student needing a ride up the hill on an extremely cold day. Safety and a sense of family make SHU great.

The people here are wonderful. All of the professors care for you, and try to help you succeed. I enjoy it. Commuters who get here early for morning classes will get nice spots, and you will definitely feel welcomed

I couldn't be happier that I chose this school. Everyone is ridiculously friendly and the teachers are always willing to help. The only reason someone wouldn't like this school is because they're too busy partying to study. I completely recommend it!
Overall 4.2
Overall, my experience at Seton Hill has been wonderful. It's a small, close community with a lot of clubs on campus. The food is hit or miss sometimes, and the Wi-Fi isn't always great but other than that it is a solid school. The community is safe and welcoming and other staff are very helpful.
Overall 4.2
Seton Hill is the perfect school if you are looking for a personal education from your professors. Your experience is what you make of it, and Seton Hill offers many avenues of opportunity.

This school is a pain and my butt all the time. About 2 professors are capable of teaching and the staff is horrible. Food is terrible. Dorms are old. The cost is not worth it. The college experience is not here. Find some where else to go.

Seton Hill is overpriced, even for a private college. I hate everyday that I walk down the sidewalks. I am constantly being screwed over as a commuter, and it's harder to get into classes than it is at an overcrowded state school. There is constant waitlisting for such a small school, even in major classes. I hate this school.
Overall 1.7
The campus is beautiful, and most faculty and students are friendly, however this school is way too over priced. The quality of education is abysmal at best Some faculty are excellent, however most are poor teachers. For the cost of living on campus, more should be offered for the students. example- Cable, good WIFI, bug free rooms. good programs,
