Tehama Campus does not have food, but we are very well taken care of. Thank you Tehama Campus Shasta College.
Overall 4.7
Campus is pretty and has a farm and dorms that a lot of people don't know about. Nice to have the Starbucks on campus too. Many of the buildings are being remodeled. Super great teachers and very supportive counseling and admissions staff. Financial aid was helpful too and helped me find some good ways to pay for college. Great college overall.

This school is great and has so many available opportunities.

I have enjoyed being a Shasta College Student. Tehama County campus is not as glorious, but definitely an awesome campus. Great staff at the Tehama campus.

Shasta College has been excellent in transitioning to online classes during the pandemic. They truly care for their students and help in any way possible.

The counselors give off the impression that they do NOT care about students, you're clearly just a number to them. The buildings and classrooms are outdated. The one nice facility one campus is the writing/math lab. The bathrooms are disgusting. The professors range from decent to grossly unprofessional. The financial aid office is horrible!
Overall 1.5
Shasta College is hit or miss as far as classes go; usually a miss. Administration-wise, the right hand doesn't seem to know what the left is doing. Don't even get me started on the counseling center. Overall, if you have the option to attend another college, do it. If you don't, buckle up, you're in for a bumpy ride.
Overall 1.5
Not friendly for the progressively-minded! Most social groups/clubs are WAY too conservative, so is the campus in-general! Coming from a big-city, this has been a major culture shock. The campus has a definite lack of diversity. Agreed, it is also not friendly for the returning-older student who has other obligations while pursuing an education.
Overall 1.5
The financial aid office has not been helpful. Some of the restrooms are awful, worse than a gas station. Counselors have not been helpful so far. Not easy to get into popular classes. Odd location for a college. I am not usually the type of person to suggest something like this, but the male teachers seem to be more fair w/their grading system!

I cant say enough about the lack of an education, security, and worth this place makes you feel. In several years attending I found roughly 2 or 3 teachers that actually showed concern over their students well-being. The biggest concern at Shasta College is money, not you graduating. Avoid at all cost, stick to online elsewhere. Happiness evades SC

not much here besides tons of vending machine. More vending machines to choose from than classes and professors. I go here cause I'm local, wouldn't if I wasn't. Can't wait to be gone.

Most instructors seem proud that their classes are as hard as a university. We are expected to do the workload of university students but WITHOUT THE RECOGNITION that a university-degree brings? What about students who are not at-university level? This squeezes out students wanting a traditional Jr. College education and don't want to transfer!
Overall 1.6
Dont listen to the councelors. You are better off figuring it out yourself, you will end up at a major university to find that you were 4 units shy of gaining acceptance all because a stupid Shasta college councelor didnt tell you the class wasn't transferrable

This college is a total waste of energy, resources, and most of all, money. They do not work with you unless you are bare bones "poor" and their understanding of that is so skewed it's ridiculous. If you are having trouble completing all of your classes, they do not help you, they put you on probation and force you to take a workshop. Worst college
