Amazing University!!!
Overall 4.7
Have been going to SFU for a while now and have very little to complain about regarding the actual university.
Overall 4.7
When it comes to certain programs like Communication, Criminology, and others SFU really is a standout for BC, exceeding UBC's programs in some parts. The campus is unique, vibrant club opportunities even if social life isn't as easily accessible maybe as other places. But you get what you put in, it's a great place to do your undergrad imo.
Overall 4.6
There are lots of opportunities if you look for them. Co-op, study abroad, career advising, case competitions, etc. To make friends, you have to put yourself out there!
Overall 4.5
SFU is one of the BEST universities in Canada. The school is super prestigious with lots of opportunities for future great and self-development. All the professors are really knowledgeable and always helpful. Campus life is super fun and many great places to hang-out. I'd highly recommend it for anyone willing to ACTUALLY focus on academics. :)
Overall 4.3
I like SFU, I love the classes Professors and overall life on the campus.
Overall 4.2
I've been going here for a while and enjoy it. There are some social aspects to SFU, it truly depends on the crowd.
Overall 4.1
great school, haven't regretted going here so far
Overall 4.1
Personally I think it is a great school with lots of academic and social opportunities but you must be willing to put yourself out there and try new things and go out of your comfort zone to truly succeed here.

Very sad to see SFU making decisions that are not benefiting their students. Goes to show that they truly do not care about the success and well-being of the students
Overall 1
SFU is in dire need of change.
Overall 1
I can't believe I wasted so much of my time and money just to be taught by inexperienced TAs who have no clue what they are doing and professors who lack a passion for what they are teaching.
Overall 1
Full of unkind students, professors, and other staff members.

Transferred here from Douglas College, was not really happy with Douglas but SFU manages to be such a downgrade it makes me miss Douglas. Profs don't care, many are unprofessional, TAs don't care and can't be bothered to mark half the time so get used to RNG grades... Campus locations are either a shopping mall or stuck on a mountain.

Destroy your life by study in SFU
Overall 1.2
professors and TA's do not care about you. Go where you and your education will be supported. NOT WORTH THE INCREASING COSTS
Overall 1.4
Health and counselling services are terrible The dining hall food has no variety and dining staff are rude. Professors seem to lack care and support for their students and campus is very isolating since it’s located so far away from social life
Overall 1.5
The majority of classes are taught by inexperienced/unqualified TA's, and with so much of the course work on-line, students have no support from anyone who is remotely interested/qualified to support their learning. The education at SFU is basically like a bottom-tier Netflix subscription (if there was actually any reliable Internet on campus).
Overall 1.5
To be completely honest the other students that I met here are two faced and snobbish. Tutorials are useless and an alarmingly judgmental environment. Do not feel comfortable sharing different perspectives because others laugh and roll their eyes.
