I've been to a few community colleges and none are perfect but SVC is the closest I've seen. It's in a beautiful location with a great layout and supplied with many counsellors available to help as well as math and writing studios with tutors and art studios and more. You can tell the school cares. Just pick teachers that suit you.

Fantastic school! The environment is amazing and all of the teachers want you to do your best! The Cafe DOES take debit and credit, as does the coffee stand, student store and vending machines. The library is fantastic. Great school!!!
Overall 4.4
This is probably the best choice for a community college around! It offers great choices, including a technical school as well as the regular college! This is an awesome school!
Overall 4.3
Skagit Valley is great for obtaining technical skills to transition straight into the workforce. Might not be the most challenging place if your major is English or Psychology but the staff is friendly and easily accessible.
Overall 4.3
Skagit is great. Most of the teachers are great too. I have had problems at Everett CC and Whatcome CC, but not at Skagit. Everyone is very helpful, and the new green building that will will be up and running in fall of 2014 is looking awesome. I have never enjoyed going to school so much before Skagit!

I attended this school for 2 years and had I not transferred, it would've taken me 4 years to finish a 2 year degree because class availability is a nightmare!
In terms of professors, you can tell who truly cares about student success vs those who are only there for a paycheck.
Aside from that, fender benders are common in the lot so prep for that.
Overall 2
This college should be a last resort. Running start credits may not transfer, and a '2-year' degree could take four years to complete due to advising and course issues. The lower tuition comes with lower quality; consider other options.
