Excellent professors and individualized support are the hallmarks of Skidmore.

I had a great experience at this school after transferring from another school where I had a terrible experience. Very supportive faculty and I felt very safe. I thought the culture here was superb and I would recommend to anyone. I was also able to complete two majors which was great for my interests.

This school is for rich, privileged jerks. Academics are fairly competitive. Received zero actual guidance from my academic advisor. I seriously regret attending this college.
Overall 1.8
isolating/ reminds me of high school. I literally don't know where my very expensive tuition goes because some buildings are falling apart, the ice cream machine was broken all year, and the singular d hall or gym will close early and the only notice you get it the paper stuck to the door of the building telling you they're closed.

Only positives were the nice library, and look and size of the campus for small school. Negatives: middle of nowhere. Academics were decent, but some very incompetent professors. Food was stellar my freshman year, then somehow regressed my sophomore year. The social life was absolutely awful, would have given it a 0 if I could have. I transferred.
