I think if SAU as a hidden gem everyone is super caring and there are a lot of great programs with even better opportunities also the campus is beautiful and it is easy to get involved I am so glad I picked SAU professors are super caring and great at what they do and there truly is a place for anyone here.
Overall 5
Southern is really what you make of it. If you get involved, you'll have a great time. If you sulk, you'll hate it. It's a smaller school, so there's definitely a different social atmosphere than at a state school. Campus is gorgeous, dorms are pretty good, it's a solid choice.

I absolutely love SAU, best Adventist school for sure. Beautiful campus, tons of opportunities to get involved, great atmosphere and Chattanooga is right around the corner. SAU has great academics and opportunities are abundant.

The food van be more different
Overall 4.7
Southern's campus is extremely friendly and the teachers care about student success. If you are looking for a place to grow in your relationship with God, Southern is one of the best places for that growth to occur because they make it their mission for you to grow spiritually through vespers, emphasis on personal time with God, and serving others
Overall 4.6
One of the best schools I've been to. It's in a very rich town, Chatt is just 10 min away.

Terrible campus would not recommend! I regret ever coming here!

horrible horrible place.
Overall 1.5
The internet and phone signal sucks here! Dorms are awful. Other buildings are ok though.
Overall 1.7
If you aren't an Adventist, prepare to be miserable. Mandatory Church or small groups 4 times a week (or else), faculty which treats you like children (I'm talking about you, Men's dorm), worst food I've ever had (all tofu based), too far away to walk anywhere worth going, all of the students are very culty so it's hard to meet people worth knowing
Overall 1.8
The food is all vegetarian, the dress code forbids short to class even in the heat of summer, there's a no jewelry policy, they don't sell anything caffeinated, it's full of judgmental kids who were either home schooled until college or were in a private school until college and therefore know nothing of the real world and exist in a bubble.
Overall 1.9
not the best
Overall 1.9
I shudder.

Location, this place is hard to get to traffic jams are a major problem. Speaking of: Parking is $90 a year. There isn't enough. If you park somewhere your permit doesn't allow you get a $45 ticket. No coffee sold anywhere on campus, nuff said. Administration doesn't care. Everyone assumes your parents are paying. They arent.
