I'm an online student and I love this seminary and many professors as well as president.
Overall 4.6
I have absolutely loved my experience at SBTS. Almost every professor I've had has been TOP NOTCH. Not only experts in their fields, but humble, relatable, practical, and pastoral. If you're looking for a solid, conservative, scholarly, and pastoral seminary, look no further. This school is amazing.
Overall 4.5
Well administered, well lead school with great faculty. Overall great combo of academics and practicality, good tuition price for sbc students especially. Food in cafeteria and coffee in founders surprisingly solid.
Overall 4.4
Overall I have had a great experience. I do feel like at times the school places professionalism over spirituality.

I had a wonderful experience at Southern. The campus facilities is family and children friendly with pool, gym, fitness center, and children's room. The atmosphere is professional, yet warm and hospitable. I highly recommend SBTS.
Overall 4.1
Get involved with the centers on campus. Volunteer, grab an internship, have lunch with professors. The academics are awesome, but there are loads of extra opportunities you should snag. Obviously there aren't a lot of "clubs" --it's a graduate level school. But there is a lot to do with missions, conferences, guest speakers, and ministries.

They dont care about students. They dont believe what they are supposedly teaching. They let people do as they please when they thing it is the right thing. But one person makes a simple mistake they kick you out. When you want someone in charge they wont allow you to talk to Mohler. Mohler doesnt seem to have a clue cause he doesnt know.
