If there was a perfect University this one would be it. I went here when I was 22 (so a little older than usual) and still had a great time. Amazing professors and small classes. Highly recommended.

Southwestern is the best! Everyone is genuine and helpful and WANTS to get to know you. Not to mention the great liberal arts education you are getting!

Heres my take as a senior. Its been a great 3 years. Opportunities galore if you go out and get them; dont stay in your room. Its a waste. Also, the food has had a major overhaul since first year. Too bad I dont have a meal plan anymore. Many renos going on. Profs care about you since its small classes. Career center #1 in TX. Take advantage!
Overall 4.3
Southwestern is a wonderful little school. I started at a larger university but transferred here and I love it! Love georgetown and Austin and Round rock are close enough. It is a small school so some clubs and facilities are lacking but all in all I love it here and glad I made the switch. Oh and professors generally are wonderful!
Overall 4.3
I love attending this school! All staff and professors are well informed and very nice. They help you as you want through your time at SU and I hope with continue to be wonderful references later in life. Beautiful campus. It is a school of overachievers. Everyone is involved in something and it is nice to see a deep level of commitment from most.
Overall 4.3
To say the least, I love it here! Don't want to leave. The professors are always willing to help and there are so many opportunities to get join a club, greek life, or anything outside of academics.
Overall 4.2
Southwestern University is a great school to attend if you value close relationships with students and faculty, quality career advising services, and a beautiful campus.

Overpriced. Only good things about it are the professors and friends I've made.
Overall 1.4
I transferred after my sophomore year. After reflecting on my time here I realize that the school was ridiculously over priced for the lack of nice facilities. The entire school needs serious love and care. The campus is known for its gossip which is also gross. Hated my time here, and am very glad I left this institution.
Overall 1.5
Constantly raises tuition 2k+ each year. Expect to be paying at least 10k more for your final semester, if you're one of the lucky ones that graduates in 4 years. Most need 5.
Overall 1.8
Everyone here is from Texas and is under this false pretense that the school is so liberal and progressive when it is actually a zombie cult of Tumblr and Reddit obsessed kids spouting opinions read from their favorite blog post and/or heard from their favorite indie band. The administration is awful - bureaucratic BS to the max. DO NOT GO HERE.

Eh.

Only a certain type of people go to this school, if you don't fit that category then you will not enjoy it.
Overall 1.9
The residential life office assigned me to a room without roommates during the summer break, and a month after class began, they wanted me to pay over 1000 dollars for next two months for living in a single room, which is ridiculous. What were they doing in that month? Does the school just wanna make as much money as they can?
Overall 2
If your parents handle everything for you - you may think this school is great.. but then again the majority of students at SU do have parents who handle everything for them. Working with the business, financial aid, or registrars office is a NIGHTMARE. Nobody knows what they're doing and the school has ludicrous policies.
