Just finished my first semester at Spelman and I'm so happy with my decision! Being a freshman is such a learning experience but I wouldn't want to grow and experience college any where else.

Awesome experience thus far! The classes aren't the easiest but you learn SO much. I appreciate that almost every professor has a doctorate in the subject that they are teaching on. And it may be an all girls school but Morehouse (all male) and CAU (coed)are literally right next door. Good balance of academics and social life

Overall, Spelman is a great school I have grown so much since I have been in college. Spelman is the place to come if you want to be the best in your work field and the place to come to learn how to grow as a person. The professors will push you to be the best you can be, better than you thought you could be.

I love Spelman. If I had to do the college search process over again Id still choose Spelman. Best decision Ive ever made

Spelman is what you make of it. If you are hoping to attend this school for some utopia of sisterhood you have another thing coming but this environment definitely prepares us for success as long as you make use of all your resources.
Overall 4.4
I love being at the illustrious Spelman College. The tuition is expensive but if you take account the fact that you share basically 3 other campuses, the opportunities the name brings, and the people you will meet, it's WORTH it! I couldn't imagine myself anywhere else. It is very traditional though but it's vital. Spelman is top 2 but not #2!

Spelman is a beautiful school with wonderful people and great opportunities. We are an underfunded HBCU located in a not so safe neighborhood in Atlanta. The campus however is safe; it is gated and with good judgement you will be fine off campus as well. The food has recently been changed so its not bad anymore. Overall college is what you make it.
Overall 4.3
AMAZING school. I feel a string sense of sisterhood here. The faculty/staff as well as the students are very uplifting and all help each other succeed. The location of the school is in an unsafe area. But with good judgement (don't walk off campus, never travel alone, don't go to random house parties), you'll be okay.
