I loved my time at SAU. I had great nursing instructors and made some wonderful friends.
Overall 4.6
St. Ambrose has given me so many opportunities to not only learn academics, but learn how to be a leader. Every campus has some things that could be improved, but what says the most is that everyone cares at SAU. From the professors to the housekeeping staff, each person wants to make sure that each student's experience is a great one!

I love St. Ambrose so much, I never want to leave! It seems so small but I meet new people every week! I have met some of my very best friends here that I'll have forever! The social opportunities are endless and are always a blast whether on or off campus! It's in Davenport which isn't the safest but the security here makes it very safe! Go Bees!!

Awesome school which makes you feel like everyone is family here. Highly recommended.

SAU was awesome because the teachers care alot about your well being and it's a small school in a big metropolitan area!
Bad reviews

Worst school I’ve ever been to. Not worth the money getting in debt. Horrible nursing program. Students not friendly and professors not helpful. Save your time and money. You will regret it
Overall 1.3
The food here is absolutely disgusting!! Everyone gets sick when eating it and the campus is pretty, but in a bad area. Do not feel safe walking on the sidewalk by school anywhere!!
Overall 1.3
I tried giving it a try my freshman year. However, the school is not very good unless you are looking for a small, boring place where there is never anything to do. for some people a smaller school is good. That is what I thought at first but this school was a huge disappointment.
Overall 1.5
i dislike this school - i dont want to be more specific
Overall 1.5
There are clubs, but sports practices conflict with meetings. Athletes are sent all over town because there aren't enough resources for athletics on campus. We play football at a high school field, and no one comes to the games except parents of players, dancers, and cheerleaders. Think twice about this school if you want many resources on campus.
Overall 1.5
This school is not for anyone other than aspiring teachers and physicaloccupational therapy students. SOME of the people in the offices are nice, others are completely useless. The campus is small and easy to run into people you don't want to see. Not a campus town and not much to do around. Also, super expensive for not very good services.
Overall 1.7
I wouldn't recommend this place unless you really enjoyed getting screwed over all the time. Education is great but the school will take you for every dollar you have and give nothing in return. Food worst ever, housing run down and too pricey. No financial aid in the summer I pay $6k to do an unpaid internship....
Overall 1.7
A lot of old staff and faculty
Overall 1.8
Davenport is boring, the faculty are mostly old, the dorms are torn up (pee in the Cosgrove elevator daily), the food is awful, and there aren't many bars in the area to get into under 21.
Overall 1.8
they don't give good scholarships and then they had me listed as off campus for a whole semester and i could have received more aid and nobody noticed despite me coming in once a week. oh and they owe me money and won't pay me. they also screwed my friend over by changing his package and not telling him so he had to transfer. financially, NO.
