Having a great time. People here are nice

It is just far away enough the center of the city so that it has a traditional feel and close knit community unlike most colleges in the city but it is close enough that you don't miss out on anything. The area around campus is quite and scenic. The campus itself is modern, safe, and comfortable. There are a lot of facilities, and great people.

Its like a second home.
Overall 4.6
Love my experience so far! Location is really not bad at all, if you know where to go. Plenty of opportunities and help services for many different areas of study.

I love it here, I just don't like how anyone can just come on campus
Bad reviews

Too many students, not enough resources or rooms. Hard to do work in the library cause there's no space to find a seat and do work. If you live in queens or long Island and this is your only option sure. But if you live in the other boroughs and have to commute dont bother. Coming here doesn't feel worth it. Especially since I have to teach myself.
Overall 1
This school took years off my life. Making schedule since classes get closed fast due too many people that the school doesnt have enough resources for, some classes have profs that can't teach so the good ones gets taken fast. The timings are also awkward. This causes people to fall behind on graduating, so they pay for extra classes.
Overall 1
All the profs (except some very rare ones) are terrible. Services are awful, not helpful one bit. Tuition is super high and keeps on increasing, for profs who can't even teach just be reading off the slides. And they be charging for everything, printing, textbooks we don't use, etc. Do yourself and parents a favor and don't come here.
Overall 1
Steer clear of the pharm school. Do you really want to be $250k in for a degree that wants to pay you $45-$50/hour? The vast majority of degrees are in retail slave mills (the 3 letter devil and corner of ptsd) and you won’t be that special graduate who lands a unicorn job. The faculty here still think its the 80s and 90s when they got out. BAAHH
Overall 1
The pharm school faculty talk a good game and brainwash yall kiddies by saying "youre the most respected healthcare professionals so you must counsel every patient on every new med" GTFO. Put any of them at a cvs or walgreens, none of them will last 10 minutes into the shift
Overall 1
Freshmen advisors don't help but got no problem in showing attitude. Some of the buildings are very out of date: esp St John's hall: paying all this money for some broken chairs, outdoor bathrooms are prob much better than the bathrooms in sjh. Registering for classes is a headache cause finding one with a good prof is extremely hard.
Overall 1
Do NOT waste your money and time here. Attending this god forsaken university (esp that overpriced pharmacy program) is pointless since the faculty are biased and cant teach properly- they are out there to discourage and fail you and refuse to help the students even if you go to them. TLDR there is a life once you escape this dump.
Overall 1
Would absolutely NOT* attend the 3rd rate pharmacy school. There are much better options, i.e. computer programming, engineering, accounting, finance, etc. that pay as well as pharmacy, offer far better work conditions, and do not require you take out an additional $200k+ in loans and spend an additional 4 years of your life in school.
Overall 1
If youre unlucky enough to be in the pharm school i extremely pity you. The faculty are all tone deaf and have zero real world experience since theyve done nothing but comfortably sit behind their desks meanwhile their peers working the frontlines are all overworked, stressed out and falling sick from this pandemic. BUY THE OLD TESTS- itll save you

The third rate pharm school just got a new dean but really theyre nothing but a puppet. Yall better believe that sh*t italian mangione is still there controlling everything incessantly scheming ways to screw the students out of their tuition so he can keep getting his yachts and mansions
