I went here ten years ago I am back and still love the vibe

The good professors out weight the bad.

STLCC is the best school in my opinion for Culinary Arts and Baking and Pastry. Casey Schiller (2 time winner of Cupcake Wars) is the Baking and Pastry instructor not to mention a full staff of top of the line Chefs as instructors. And the culinary/baking credits you earn there will transfer to any 4 year college.
Overall 4.4
The location of the school is great. There is so much to do and you will definitely get the city aesthetic. The school administration is so kind.
Overall 4.4
I find the school itself to be excellent. It is my perception of the student body on the other hand is of concern to me. Second day of class someone stole something from me right out of my backpack while in the classroom.

As a graduate of Stlcc I love it here ??

Great school make sure to take advantage of the resources

I am a returning student, in my late 20s and have nothing but wonderful things to say about this school. Every single staff member wants these students to succeed. There are endless resources available for help whether that be food pantry, tutors, de-stress events, career development services...the list goes on.
Overall 4.2
They are doing a lot of construction to improve the campus. I think it is over 50 years old. The administration however are not supportive to our needs. They don't offer enough sections for us to select from. It feels like they don't want us to come there.
Overall 4.2
I love that I choose to come here. I have yet to met one unhelpful person since I've come. The teachers are all helpful and nice.Theres two negatives- some of the students (slackers and complainers) and the library. The library is a joke. No cell phone signs everywhere and every 5 mins someone answers a call and carries on a convo!

STLCC is a complete disaster due to the incompetence of Administration at all levels. Teachers and lower-level staff are generally good, though. This forum doesn't have enough space to allow me to elaborate. If you are thinking of going or working here - RUN, run away as fast as you can!

Horrible in every way except the few professors that actually cared about the students. Also, the cafeteria was always closed around 2-3. Administration is horrendous. Fix what you already have and then build new buildings.

Go to Merrimec Campus, excellent, you would never know it was the same school. Unfortunately, alot of the health programs are at Forest Park Campus. If possible, take what gen ed courses you can take @ Merrimec Campus, or Florrisant Valley (another good campus) and take core class at Forest Park.
Overall 1.6
It's a good campus, but it needs more work done. The enrolment is so low. A lot of students are not even wasting anymore time at that campus with nothing to do. The school needs more excitement and fun.

The Professors AND Staff are getting paid to do nothing, are lazy, and keep their voicemail on to avoid phone calls. The staff are flippant when it comes to inputting the wrong info regarding paperwork, financial aid, etc. Then, they give me the run around and expect me to fix what they've messed up. Most have big titles that they don't live up to
Overall 1.8
Disorganized and clueless. The only person I met with a clue was the young man who helped me in the bookstore. I signed up for an on line accounting class. The professor said he would find me a tutor but never did. The first exam was scheduled the day AFTER the drop date. Administration refused to do anything. What a joke.

I feel like because I cannot afford an expensive school, I do not receive as good of an education. The instructors are nice people, but they do not teach well. I am in the IT and IS programs and I basically teach myself and hope I am doing the correct things. I should not have to go into debt so that I can have an instructor teach me the subjects
