I had the time of my life at St. Mary's. This is a place you can really feel that you're a part of. There's a palpable energy if you're around the right crowd. What college meant to me was endless days of exploring the river, windsurfing, sailing, and swimming with my friends. I can't imagine having gone anywhere else. I'll always call it home.

I love SMCM.

SMCM is amazing. Wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

I feel so at home on campus. Professors and supporting staff are amazing and want whats best for you. Very accepting campus, big emphasis on mental health and resources to support you. Id refer it to anyone UNLESS youre coming to play volleyball. As of right now, the coaching staff is awful and dont care about their athletes.
Overall 4.5
I am an alum. I spent twelve years of my life either in school there or near the campus, living nearby and working locally as a teacher (never a professor at the school itself). I continue to visit campus and take friends there, using facilities, seeing and participating in programs, and enjoying myself and my friends there.

St. Mary's is a beautiful college, the profs really care about students. It's a small school, so you should be someone who knows how to make your own fun. I think people who like to be outside do well here. The clubs are decent and since its small you'll have a good chance of being in charge, which looks great on a resume.

Great school that still holds on to its great reputation! There have been some problems with the admissions people, which lowered the student population. Very beautiful campus, specially in warmer months. Classes are rigorous. Have a good core group of friends, since its a small campus. Colleges see SMCM as a great school.

This school is a joke of a college! I pretty much didnt learn anything, left and took a semester at community college where I learned more then I did during an entire year and a half there. In addition, the campus culture is cliquey, not inclusive and pretty much entirely white. Look into the crappy administration and their cover ups of scandals!

They hired a rapist who has attacked several students. This school is only in it for the money and you'll realize that getting a degree from a small no-name school won't be doing you any good in life or the job market. Plus the president has been stealing money for herself (google it) and still isn't fired! It's all a big scam!!
Overall 1.2
Coming to this school was the worst decision that I have ever made in my life.
Overall 1.5
Sometimes the "dream school" isn't all it's cracked up to be.
Overall 1.7
This school was honestly so boring, and ruined my college years. Would not recommend. There is little to no housing options; they failed to inform me that you would pretty much living like a freshman for all 4 years of college. This school does not teach you to become a real adult, and it is very much like a high school with all the drama.
Overall 1.7
do not come to this school no matter what. If you're attracted to the small intimacy of the campus its not as appealing as you might think. The staff couldn't care less if you pass or fail and are extremely incompetent. The food is abysmal. The school as a whole seems like a weird cult of robots trying to be extremely nice when its all a facade
Overall 1.7
It's pretty but not as fun as advertised. I wish I went to a larger school with more things happening. Weekends are so boring with not much to do!! 201

Coming here was the worst decision I ever made I transferred from the college of southern Maryland and can safely say that CSM is better than SMCM in almost every conceivable way if you want a real education go there or almost any other college classes here are easy teachers are a joke you wont learn a thing and admin doesnt care about us at all
