So far my time at St. Olaf has been rough for personal reasons. The reason I give the school such a high score is that even at my worst I still felt very connected to campus, and have been able to make incredible connections. College is what you make of it.

I visited over 30 schools when looking at colleges. I knew that by doing this, I would inevitably have doubts on if I applied to the right schools and chose the right one for me. I was wrong. There is not a single thing I'd change about this place I call home. Like sweatpants? Cool. Like dressing up? Cool. People here are unbeatable

Great school, nothing negative about it. There are all the problems you find at any other college (tough professors for example). The main problem is housing.
Overall 4.6
This school is really amazing, it seems as though everyone really wants you to succeed. Academics are tough but very good and I haven't had a bad prof yet. Food is amazing compared to most schools. Social life can be fun if you find a good house off campus but dorm life is fun still!
Overall 4.6
It's what you make of it. I love the students and professors here so much (however, administration can be problematic). The whole "dry campus" spiel is bull, you can always find a plug or a party if you have connections! My one complaint is the location - I'm a city kid, and without a car here I feel claustrophobic once in a while.
Overall 4.6
Love it! So many things to get involved in and everyone is very helpful and nice!
Overall 4.5
I love St. Olaf! It is the perfect school for me because I was looking for a small school with good academics and music. I feel like I have so many opportunities here
Overall 4.5
I like the school a lot. Sometimes, I wish I had gone somewhere closer to a city, but it is also nice to have a change of scenery. And there are still cities and bustling areas near by, so I don't feel isolated. People are fine, a lot of fake woke white people which is annoying. *Ignore comments from freshmen during the pandemic*
Overall 4.5
This is a bit of a haven away from the "real world" so to speak, which is something that was important to me. Yes, it is in a cow town away from amenities, but it really gave me a chance to grow and focus on my academics and career. There are so many opportunities for leadership and learning here -- plus the FOOD <3
Overall 4.5
Everything is awesome but some profs are REALLY bad at telling you what they want from you. But you'll find that almost anywhere.

St. Olaf tells their prospective students they have so much more to offer than they actually do. When I was a prospective student I was promised there would be a weekly figure drawing co-op, many ways to get involved in theater, and only 1 "religion" (AKA Christianity) requirement. All lies! +There's no such thing as MN nice, ppl here are MEAN.
