If I could summarize Stetson University into one word it would be "Opportunity". Stetson provides you with so much opportunity and tools that equip you for the real world. Stetson is my home and I couldn't have picked a better college.

Like at any school, what you put into it is what you get out of it. Even in the hard times, I know I am where I am supposed to be. If you are reading a bunch of these reviews trying to figure out where you will end up, stop and take a breath. You are going to be just fine, no matter where you go, a bachelors degree is the end result. Good luck!

I am a sophomore music major. Everyone here is very nice. We're a small, loving community where everyone knows each other. The violin professor is absolutely amazing, I love her. Most professors are just like her (tho there's always exeptions). I rated the food poorly mostly because they have quantity over quality. 10/10 you'll love it here.

Stetson is one of the most beautiful campuses you will ever see. They are constantly having student activities and games on campus to attend and intramural and club sports are really fun and competitive. They offer lots of career-based help and opportunities.

School is great, beautiful, many clubs and most professors care about your success.

This is a fantastic school but what you put in you get out. I remember not being too sure my freshmen year about stetson as I wished I went to a bigger school but stetson has changed my life so much for the better and has put me into a situation where I will be soaring post graduating.

Its a small school with so many opportunities for leadership
Bad reviews

I was stalked & sexually harassed for months & told it was my fault by faculty before getting kicked out for having bad grades due to the harassment. He told me to get a job and learn how to work with people in response to people camping on my dorm room's front doorstep & sexually harassing me. Someone was murdered behind my dorm while I was there.

horrible school. not good for mental
Overall 1.5
Literally a scam school don't go here unless you're rich asf and love to teach yourself everything. They suck you in with seemingly good scholarships, but hardly makes a dent; tuition always increasing. Super cliquey, not a friendly campus and everything revolves around greek life. Its basically like attending a slightly bigger preppy high school.
Overall 1.6
Public Safety only cares about parking tickets and not overall safety of students. Its quite sad honestly. If you live off campus its manageable but would never recommend living on campus. Food and res halls are unacceptable. Once you become a student you are no longer a priority. Stetson only cares about you when recruiting.
Overall 1.7
This school cost too much for the quality of the professors. The dorms are terrible and they will not let you live off campus and the housing staff does not care about you at all and will not answer your emails. A few professors are good.

hate it here!!! want to transfer to a school that will actually teach me things!

There's not enough characters to describe how awful my experience was. If it weren't for my boyfriend I wouldn't have made it out alive. The cafeteria food? Hope you don't have allergies. They don't care about anything but money. I had a few really good professors, but everything else was awful. I went through literal hell here. Never recommending.
