Suffolk University has a really good location in Boston downtown. It is near to Boston common, China town, downtown crossing and walk for 10 mins u can arrive Newbury Street. You have so many good place and good restaurants to go. Also, Suffolk University gives students lots of chance to do whatever we want. Good teachers and wonderful classes.
Overall 4.8
You cannot beat the location. We are truly in the center of everything. It is the best location out of all the Boston colleges.
Overall 4.7
Suffolk makes it very easy to get involved in clubs, sports, and other activities. The school has been making a lot of positive changes and updates. Highly recommend!

Every week there is something to do on campus. Get involved! Great location, and food is not bad at all. You can get creative with your order and they offer a lot of options. In the beginning I was planning to transfer, but I realized that Suffolk is the right school for me. Overall I like the small classes and there's so much to do here.
Bad reviews

This place is 0/10. Only cares about pushing their agenda and not educating their students.
Overall 1.4
Do not go here if you plan on majoring in STEM as most professors are incompetent and the coursework does not prepare you for a career that such majors promise. The tuition hikes are unfair along with the fees charged for stuff you don't ever use. Clubs aren't that great or diverse either. Not a good school for hard workers.
Overall 1.6
Do not come here if you want a campus. The graduate rate is 57% for a reason. Very unsafe area. There was a stabbing down the street from my dorm a few weeks ago in broad daylight. Everyone either transfers or drops out. Huge mice issue that they won't fix. Don't live on campus if you want to hear mice crawling in your walls or worse IN YOUR ROOM.
Overall 1.6
I started as an undergrad and now a grad. Over the years the school has gone down hill. They are getting rid on my program. The professors don't teach yet they continue to get raises. They are dismissive of our feelings. The place is falling apart. The education is not worth the price.
Overall 1.6
If you want to go to a college where food is inedible, elevators are constantly broken, fire alarm always going off, a lack of communication/campus feel between faculty and students, safety always being a concern, and lots of money being required to have a social life, then Suffolk is the university for you.
Overall 1.8
It was the biggest mistake of my life - choosing to study here. I'm graduating and I haven't made a single friend here coz there's no social life, clubs are really bad, there's no advising or help from SU whatsoever. The professors and hw are just the worst, they're SO irresponsible and know nothing about the subjects they 'teach'. TOO EXPENSIVE.

Science department is rough and the food is the absolute worst
Overall 1.8
This school has very little class choices and the food sucks. There is very little social life and it's tough to make friends when there is no community feeling. I feel unsafe walking to class as i constantly get harassed and the classes are not challenging. There is also very little choice for clubs and everyone is in it for themselves.
Overall 1.9
Its good for law but thats it. Disgusting bathrooms. Food sucks. Expensive as hell. I wish I went somewhere else or transferred. Do not recommend for those who don't study law. But still strongly do not recommend. Only nice thing is the close shopping areas and places that offer edible food near campus.
