Overall 4.5
I honestly like the University very much. It is a small campus but everyone is nice and there are many organizations to join. Also I have been able to get internships which will help me expand my network and knowledge.

Bad reviews
Overall 1
Unsatisfactory opportunities that has been struggling to find new things and there's nothing that can change my experience to find the dream job I want. No internship opportunities, no research opportunities, etc. I don't recommend.
Overall 1.2
This is a school for people who are unable to write a coherent paragraph. Seriously, they make you take a writing test to graduate. If you passed 8th grade English you should be able to pass this test, yet 50% of the students can not pass after three years of college. Something is very wrong here.

This school operates more as a business rather than an actual school

Horrible college run on the patron sysyem
Overall 1.5
For the size of the city, TAMIU is a decent school. Many professors are excellent, but the majority are below average. The campus life is non-existent but that's common for a young school, particularly in a city with nothing to do. Internet speed is very slow and unstable. The campus is a mix, some buildings are well kept, while others are not.
Overall 1.8
TAMIU is cheap but it doesn't provide help in getting jobs. Some professors are boring, read off PowerPoints, internet doesn't always work, limited food options but pizza is good.
Overall 1.8
Started at the university at the age of 16 and graduated at the age of 19 most of the classes were easy and boring effort rarely required. Lack of school spirit and not a real college experience. Many of my classmates soon transferred out. However tuition is cheap and if you're looking for easy classes tamiu is the place to go.
Overall 1.9
Its OK but some professors just read PowerPoints. Not much around the campus.
Overall 1.9
Attended for Undergrad and Grad school. As I increased in level, the Psych program revealed the low quality level of demand that its professors had from their students. They asked for the minimal and did not challenge them for their best. Consequently, most graduates are ill-equipped to bring healing to others in the field of mental health.
