Such an amazing campus and college experience
Overall 4.5
TAMUG offers the small-town feel while receiving the same diploma and Aggiering as the 50k+ students infested main campus. You will learn to hate mosquitoes, tourists, and mardi gras while you attend here. You can roll out of bed and be in class within 5 minutes. The beach is literally SECONDS away. Love this school. :D
Overall 4.4
This school has met every point of my expectation for what I presumed for a college campus. I highly regard this school, as a whole, as one of the top competitors.
Overall 4.3
Great campus and location. Love Galveston island! Lots to do, and when friends and family visit, they have a blast. I like the small campus of about 2000. The classes are small and you get to know fellow students, but more importantly you get to have a great relationship with the professors. This will help you in the long run! Love it!

I like the college a lot: - Small classes allow me to easily get to know the professors and other students (i.e., better grades). The fun location - I like that I'm 5 mins from the beach or downtown clubs, restaurants & theaters. The profs are great, especially in courses like English, Pop Culture, & Communication (take Viser!). A laid back campus.

Great for a small school Professors are on the stuck up side. Courses are very hard and very heavy on the material. Most tests are free answer form and the rest are multiple choice Time allotted for tests is not enough in some classes considering the material asked for. If you are older this college is great not to many younger students overall ok
Overall 4.2
Amazing campus but cafeteria should be avoided if possible. All the other food places on campus are good as well as in Galveston. For the most part professors care and there are many opportunities for internships and on campus jobs. Everyone knows everyone and it is a great campus if looking for a marine oriented major.

Do yourself a favor, visit during the semester and talk to the students and professors before you come here. Sit in on a class.
Overall 1.1
I sent my application here to just tell my parents that I've tried and failed to get into college. I never thought that they would accept me. There were things even missing on my application!
Overall 1.1
My choices were between here and Walmart after high school.
Overall 1.3
Dont come . Go to a party school . Worst decision Ive ever made coming to this school.
Overall 1.4
Terrible professors. Even worse advisors. Literally, nothing to do on campus. The food got me sick every time without fail. Overall the campus is depressing and lifeless. Made a few good friends but we are all headed to College Station ASAP. As a freshman engineer, this is probably the worst place to be as all the professors for ETAM classes suck.
Overall 1.4
Actually one of the worst places I've been. The school is very good at making people hate their lives. The only 3 places to eat on campus is horrible cafeteria food. Oh if youre in the maritime academy, be prepared to hate your life even more. IM not gonna act like I didn't sign up for this, but hopefully one day it'll be worth the 1-star stay.
Overall 1.4
This is a great school if you intend to add nothing to your nonexistent list of accomplishments.
Overall 1.6
This rejects no applications and as a result almost everything here caters to a very young and unproductive crowd.
Overall 1.6
If you're not certain whether or not to transfer to College Station or not, after 1 semester you'll know. If you aren't absolutely positive about a ocean oriented career, do not bother staying here.

Way worse than cstat
