Such an underrated school. Breathtaking campus and so much to do (you're between SA and Austin). Also, you will 100% leave with a ton of college mems. Lastly the Sales program got #1 in the world recently and the professors will help set you up with job opportunities personally.

I love it here
Overall 5
The campus is beautiful, and there is a river within walking distance. However, there are hills everywhere which can be tiring. There is a shuttle that runs around campus and to the apartments for convenience. The professors I've had genuinely care about their students. There are a wide variety of organizations to join and free tutoring services!

I have nothing but good things to say about this school. Everything is great except for the amount of parking spaces.

Beautiful and diverse campus
Overall 4.8
I think it's a rather safe school, people here are very friendly and open-minded. School is elevated and walkable, professors (at least the ones I've had) are nice and there are a lot of social events and opportunities.
Overall 4.8
Very chill environment and great resources and opportunities.

The worst part about Texas State is the parking. There is only one place to park if you are from out of town which I believe the majority of the university is. If you park in a red or green zone or even along a yellow line, a $40 ticket will be issued to you and you must pay within two weeks if not they will charge you a more significant late fee.
Overall 1.8
In all honesty I didn’t like this school because of the location and lack of activities outside from outdoor activities and recreational stuff. The classes can be hit or miss but there are some great professors that do care. The school has some opportunities but nothing really major because most are curated to the area.
