Amazing environment and an extremely amazing community. I’ve felt so accepted by everyone since day one.
Overall 4.9
I absolutely loved this school. Good resources especially if you are a BIPOC. I loved the community. They made me feel extremely welcome! Highly recommend!
Overall 4.7
Everyone is really open and nice no matter who you are.
Overall 4.7
I think that the TWU campus is an amazing place to live and go to school.
Overall 4.6
I have had such a great experience at TWU.
Overall 4.5
Texas Woman’s University is honestly an amazing school. There may be little things you might not enjoy such as the some of the food from the dinning hall, the slow internet in different areas on campus, and you may not feel comfortable socializing but let TWU know things that you may feel dissatisfied about and they will do there best to fix it.
Overall 4.5
This school is amazing if you are a kinesiology or a nursing major! The professors in these departments are so caring and knowledgeable and the programs provide awesome opportunities. It is hard to make friends just from classes since many people are commuters and leave however, if you get involved on campus then it is super easy to make friends.
Overall 4.5
I love everything about TWU!
Overall 4.5
Professor H.V. Jagdish is very patient and takes time to pronounce each word well.

The food is HORRIBLE! The dorms are just as bad. I'm moving back home and going to school there instead bc its MUCH cheaper.
Overall 1
Limited class options in psychology and sociology department but UNT has many courses so I go there now! The food is also a million times better!
Overall 1
TWU uses a lot of resources from UNT. TWU does not offer a lot of STEM degrees and instead sends the student over to UNT to complete their education. I applied and transferred to UNT so I didn't have to limbo between the two schools anymore. I wish they were upfront about their lack of programs. Where is the female empowerment they brag about?
Overall 1
I worked 2 FT jobs, 80+ hours a week to pay for this degree. I escaped domestic violence and was also undocumented. I got zero financial help from TWU. The psych depart AA told me "I don't think you're going to make it" and a Director in the psych dept told me "I can't think of anything strong enough to write about" when I asked for an LoR.
Overall 1
a lot of classism and elitism by the professors in the psychology department. sometimes they don't respond to emails and they the whole department will not list their office hours anywhere
Overall 1
Their business/ management school is horrible. Completely lacking for in curriculum and engagement. Very disorganized. Does not help students so be prepared to help yourself, if attending.
Overall 1
Financial aid department is rude and disorganized. If you are in any business major beware of Gabria who is the rude receptionist working in the school of management!
Overall 1.4
They are not diversity. You have to have money to fit into this school. I transferred and I can finally make friends and the professors care. This school is not community oriented.
Overall 1.5
I went here for exactly 2 semesters but transferred over to another school. The professors are not very friendly from the liberal arts side, imo. Mostly the psych profs. I'm still majoring in psychology but just on the other side of town. Pass on TWU, smash on my new college. Go mean green!
Overall 1.5
The courses are not challenging, you get a high GPA but I worry that I'm not properly trained for grad school or professional work because the work is less rigorous. High school was more rigorous. The acceptance rate is almost to 100 percent so they have to dumb it down some. It's honestly kind of embarrassing ngl.
