Great staff, friendly students, lots of interesting clubs. Professors are very helpful and want to work with you, they're also easy to get into contact with.
Overall 4.8
I love TCNJ, met some of my best friends here. Super cute campus and it feels very safe. I absolutely loved the professors as well, they genuinely care about you and want to see their students succeed.

It’s a really good school

TCNJ is a great school. The kids here are very academically driven but still have fun and party. Lots of oppurtunities. Dining hall isn't great but the rest of the food on campus is really good. The dorms aren't too bad, but the lack of air conditioning is definitely a problem that needs to be resolved. Still, I wouldn't go anywhere else
Overall 4.6
A very good school for health care track careers.
Overall 4.6
I really do enjoy going to school here. Most professors are very kind and personable, the campus is nice along with the staff. The school may be academically challenging but that’s how you stay on your feet. I highly recommend TCNJ.
Overall 4.6
TCNJ provides an excellent education for a very fair price tag. Aside from the food I have had literally 0 complaints with the College. If you don't like small campuses and then come here and complain that is your fault, go to Rutgers.
Overall 4.4
TCNJ was my top choice, I applied early decision and I'm so happy I decided to go here! Love this school
Bad reviews
Overall 1
Terrible food, terrible service, terrible professors, and mean students
Overall 1.2
Unaccommodating to commuter students and those w/ busy schedules. Commuters need more virtual/Zoom options for equity. Only started to improve their commuter organization to be more inclusive and beneficial but it is ineffective to me as my long commute and heavy course load is that much that I don't have time to attend the organization.
Overall 1.5
Yikes. If you're not in a popular major - you're NOTHING to this school. A wanabe institution that sits jealous of Princeton and ignores the fact that it's facilities are under developed, their standards for professor are hilariously low and their food has quite literally poisoned students. Clubs are fine and your only source of learning skills
Overall 1.6
If you are a disabled student, don’t come to TCNJ. Professors don’t understand the circumstances and they certainly don’t care about what they’re teaching. The Accessibility Resource Center is highly understaffed, underfunded, and impersonal. Social opportunities and career opportunities are limited. No oppportunities for pre meds either
Overall 1.7
Terrible internet connection which prevents me completing my work w/ ease. Dilapidated buildings, especially Forcina Hall which has a huge hornet nest near the windows of the the top floors which is scary. No career opportunities, my advisor didn't even assist me in searching for a required capstone internship but expects you to get one easily.
Overall 1.7
From their lack of communication to the tone deaf response of "you're not struggling, not enough withdrawals" from the provost during COVID, work needs to be done. They make you fight for classes: many sophomores and juniors had no options to choose from and still don't, the advisors are misleading, and many teachers are quite rude for no reason.
Overall 1.8
Food is horrible, buildings have mold,no a/c, chipping paint. It's impossible to get the classes u need and it's very boring
Overall 1.8
Coasting on its past reputation. More of a high school than a college now. Lots of trade school classes, like business ad education.
Overall 1.9
Literally a glorified high school that has the campus of a construction site, the social scene is a complete joke filled with immature kids and there are no bars in walking distance . Food is hit or miss depending on your meal plan but their is not much other than what the meal plans offer. The housing is hit or miss depending where you're placed.

This school likes to kick you when you're down. I started going through a lot of health problems that drained me physically and mentally. I kept seeking help for tutoring and mental health services and the faculty and teachers were very dismissive and kept making problems worse. The only reason I am here is because I am graduating early.
