Good reviews

I did my Major in Communication from UMCP at USG. My experience was great. Its a small class space and the professors are great. All my classes were held in the same building and sometimes at the same floor. Working at MAC lab was the most memorable experience, because where all COMM Majors would hang out! The communicate was great as well.
Overall 4.6
The professors are excellent and are passionate about what they are teaching. They are a lot of group projects but in the real world that makes sense. You have diversity and groups you most likely will work for and with. Maintaining an honora grade and working is challenging but that is what higher education is all about. There is no free ride

Bad reviews
Overall 1.6
The teachers assume you already know the subject matter, the food is overpriced (though there are great restaurants around), there are no tutors, and the job counselors don't know anything. There are no clubs or anywhere to hang out with friends aside from the restaurants, and you have no control over what classes you take.
Overall 1.8
I can't speak for all the programs here but as a UMD student, coming to this campus was a huge mistake. Came here to take criminal justice courses hoping to save time but found out they dont even offer most of the core classes. The director wrongfully told me to take extra classes I did not need to graduate and parking is no longer free.
Overall 1.8
If you don't work and have all the free time in the world than this is a great campus to go to otherwise I recommend going to the main campus. There's not a lot of classes and their timing is ridiculous, food is expensive and sucks, and some professors are so disorganized. Overall, THIS IS NOT A SCHOOL FOR WORKING ADULTS.
Overall 1.8
The campus is small, so there isn't much to do. Not many clubs. Probably because there aren't many students. Sometimes no one is around. The library is ok, people use it. But if you want a quite place to study, find an empty classroom. Most of the rooms are empty. The parking can be very hard because it is taken by random non student events.
