Soon to be a Towson University Alumni, I am intrigued to see such negative comments. TUNE campus is absolutely stunning, safe, and beautiful, FREE PARKING, FREE FOOD (from food share), and quality class sizes! I wish they would promote it more considering how many students live in north Baltimore County and Harford county, etc. I recommend TUNE.

Towson has definitely been an amazing experience! Everyone complaining on here honestly just has not made the most out of their college experience. There is so much to do on campus. The environment is great! Absolutely love my time at TU! Do not be discouraged by these ratings, everyone is different!!

Towson University itself, is pretty well and safe. Outside of Towson University, the surrounding area by Towson town center is becoming less safe. The school itself is amazing. There’s a diverse population of students, and many clubs and organizations for everyone.
Overall 4.7
Towson used to be a "party school" but it seems to have elevated to more of a serious school now. Yes, there are still parties, but the classes are harder and the campus is more updated and professional after the recent construction and campus updates. Theres a new president of towson, and i think she elevated the school to a new level.

Towson is great. The professors are absolutely AMAZING

I love it here! The staff, specifically the mathematics department, is absolutely stellar. I've yet to have a bad teacher, and almost all of them have gone above and beyond to help me. The school itself is great; it's a medium sized campus, so there's plenty to see while not being too overwhelming. I've had an overwhelmingly positive experience.

An overall great college!

The Towson Title IX department is absolutely useless, do not expect this school to do anything to help it's students. All it cares about is extracting money.

Overall freshmen' experience is going absolutely horrible! They refused me housing for reasons they still can't seem to fix and messed up my meal plan. Ending up being asked to be refunded for both. Can not wait to transfer to somewhere that actually values its students

This School Sucks and is filled with a bunch of liars. Everything they tell you on tour is one big lie

I’d recommend to never even tour this school. People are beyond rude, food isn’t great and there aren’t many options considering everything closes from Friday-Sunday. This school is so obviously a commuter school. Do not go.
Overall 1.9
Man, this university is all over the place. There's nothing to do outside of campus and even then, the crime is terrible. Food is terrible in the dining halls. There's really no social atmosphere and there's really only two places to go outside of campus anyways. Professors are great, students not so much. No engagement or drive to do anything.
Overall 2
Towson University faces challenges in optimal support for students with disabilities. The ADS department, Capstone housing, and the University must improve accessibility and implement supportive measures. Additionally, efforts should be made to better serve low-income students for a more inclusive and supportive environment. I do not recommend TU.

I hate it here lol, not bad, just not great. If you want to be a stem major I know moneys hard for school but if you can go somewhere else for it do it. Stem classes are limited and not a lot of research variety is available.

I have been going here even before covid happened. The campus is what you make of it. It was very hard for me to make friends in freshman year because people had their own squad way before it started. I feel like the only way to make friends is in a sorority/frat. the internet sucks and the food here is meh. oh the safety could be better but eh
