I'd never heard of the college before applying, and truly came because of finances and department features. It's crazy to think that the choice was made so loosely considering how much this place has become my home, and I can't imagine being anywhere else. No lie, Trinity is amazing if you search for ways to make the most of your time here. <3
Overall 4.8
The alumni are very responsive to internship requests and job leads, sharing their professional experiences and acquired wisdom. Trinity Colleges reputation is clearly helpful in the job search generally. The campus is beautiful and pulsing with energy. Academics are challenging but professors are available to help. Many clubs add to social scene.

I wouldn't trade anything for the time I've been able to spend here. I've found so many opportunities and friends that make it a home unlike any other.

Pretty amazing experience for me. Learned so much, met my girlfriend, will always hold a special place in my heart for Trinity. Really can't think of a bad thing about this place, other than the common things that you'll find anywhere in life.

the worst school for education majors
Overall 1.1
Trinity is a lousy college located in a dangerous, crime-ridden, city. Avoid it for you own safety.
Overall 1.1
Trinity is academically mediocre at best. They are near the bottom of the list relative to their peers. The surroundings are a constant crime scene and very unsafe, even during the day. At night it's horrible. Hartford is a cesspool.
Overall 1.4
Don’t come.
Overall 1.5
Trinity isn't very good in just about every respect. Sorry I went here. You're better off going to a state school at a fraction of the cost. I've had many professors who know nothing at all and are just pretending to teach.
Overall 1.5
Honestly, could not be more annoyed. You either enjoy going out and put your academics second or solely care about academics and rarely go out. Either group is fine, there just is no group of people in the middle. Frats are just for women, juniors, and seniors. The campus is boring and the activities suck. You are not going to enjoy it here
Overall 1.8
It's pretty bad. half the school are athletes and most of them are arrogant and extremely cliquey so there is a small amount of genuinely interesting people to hang out with. horrible area so you're pretty much stuck on campus which is fine but boring and kinda depressing when the weather is bad which is most of the school year. wouldn't reccomend
Overall 1.8
General staff is friendly, but when giving information, information is found to be incorrect. Different stories and opinions by different people.
Overall 1.9
You need to be a member of Greek Life and/or a varsity athlete to be part of the community at Trinity. Most students are very cliquey and closed off. You will be treated as inferior if you are not part of Greek Life and/or not a varsity athlete. It is a hornet's nest here at times. A toxic environment. Social events on/off campus are invite only.
Overall 1.9
The student body creates and promotes a toxic culture mainly through Greek Life, which is the main social scene on/off campus. Many students text friends in group chats during class on their computers and choose not to pay attention or participate in class. The lack of engagement/effort and the excessive party scene/culture is disappointing.
