Great, challenging school. Kirksville has a great small town vibe. I've never learned so much so fast in my life!

Absolutely love it here!

Great school. Very strong academics. Advisers and professors care and really want to help you succeed.

Hands down the top choice for a university in Missouri. You can't beat the price for the education you receive. Kirksville really is a cute town, and the community that Truman's campus offers is difficult to find at other institutions.
Overall 4.5
Truman is a great school where the student body is very driven. It is also super affordable compared to the quality of education you receive. I can't tell you enough good things about the School of Business and the Accounting department specifically. I got an internship and job offer quickly. If you want to go far in life come to Truman State.

Great school with an impressive reputation!

I love TSU! Our profs care about helping you grow as a student & a person. It's a liberal arts school, so you'll take a lot of classes not directly related to your major, but that's great because it exposes you to different types of people & ways of thinking. Even though we're in a small town, it's easy to stay busy if you get involved on campus!
Overall 4.2
The campus offers a lot of opportunities and you will have many chances to make friends. Teachers are very engaging in their classes and you always have the chance for 1 on 1 with your professors.
Overall 4.1
The students, clubs, and faculty really make the university. If you don't get involved, you'll be bored to tears, but if you interact with other students and create relationships with your professors, it's a great place with a great reputation in many different industries.

Very little resources. Professors turn the "sink or swim" tactic into "sink or sink." If time machines existed I would use one to get 3 years of my life back. College with this much anxiety isn't worth it.
Overall 1.7
Truman has two faces. One: it shows a nice, pretty campus that parents think their kids would love it and study hard; the other, quite a number of professors and classmates appear to be cold, rude, unhelpful and they ask students to suck it. The impression of Truman to me is a glamorous gown over a rotted wood.
Overall 1.8
I truly regret going to this school. You need be medicated in order to withstand several brutal years here. Otherwise, don't sacrifice your sanity. DO NOT COME!!!
Overall 1.9
This school is really small, and most professors of school of Business are not friendly. If you have any other choice to other universities, please do that. They make courses really hard like graduate courses. And professors are not nice to let you pass the courses though you work really hard on them.

Being at Truman, and especially in Kirksville, you feel trapped. It's as though you leave your soul at home wherever you are from and once you step onto campus, there's this wave of sadness. You are living as your body itself. Everyday feels like a cloudy, cold day, and nothing you can do changes that. I've never felt so sad and alone in my life.
