i love tuskegee with all my heart
Overall 4.8
If you didn't know that it was in the middle of nowhere then you are stupid. So to rate the school based on where it is does not make any sense. TU however boasts a profound history and an excellent program for Education as an undergraduate school. The professors and the culture are why you go, and the HBCU experience shapes better adults.
Overall 4.8
The beautiful historic campus is small and it provides a loving area and culture for all the students. It's a place that you can feel loved and appreciated. The faculty understands the history of the school. It does not get as much respect as it should because it is an hbcu. But you can be assured that you will get a quality education there.
Overall 4.8
Tuskegee is literally the best place ever, everyone makes you feel like youre really at home no matter how far away home may be for you. If youre looking for a great hbcu experience, with amazing students, faculty and lots of culture come and be a golden tiger
Overall 4.5
Campus is absolutely beautiful and it is a place to feel loved and enjoy every moment that you are in school. You can feel the history of with every step. Don't expect a luxury education like a PWI because this is an HBCU. We do not have a 50 billion dollar endowment but we have more than what money can buy. Would not trade it for the world.
Overall 4
Tuskegee University is an amazing school that allows for a multitude of opportunities based on each department of study. As figures, it is an HBCU and therefore it will have its ups and downs, but essentially your college experience is what you make it! True students make do with what they can and still can make the experience just as enjoyable!

I hate Tuskegee. Everything about it. I am transferring, ASAP
Overall 1
Don't like it here
Overall 1.3
Administration doesn't tell you anything, they just tell you to go see someone else and make you run around all of campus, classes are extremely easy. If you graduate with less than a 3.5 GPA something must be wrong with you. Everything is broken down and the buildings are falling apart no AC or heat 98% of the time.

None.

this school is very slow paced. they give you the run around. the students here are rude and inconsiderate.
Overall 1.8
There's not a lot at Tuskegee. After classes it isn't much to do. If you have a car, I advise taking the quick drive to Auburn. It helps.
Overall 1.9
The dorms and halls are in very poor condition, falling apart as I type. Their system is behind the times. As a transfer student I was really frustrated, it took the whole fall semester for my credits to transfer. The employees have terrible attitudes and they still work with paper files (for EVERY student).

very good outside reputation, and the campus life is manageable. but just make sure you are well aware of what you're getting into.
