The professors here are incredible and there are so many research opportunities!
Overall 4.9
I had an amazing time at UofA with studies and social activities. The uni has a lot of extracurricular activities and I loved their opportunities with research. I researched three times throughout my degree and had amazing learning from great professors.
Overall 4.9
Been here 5 years, loved every year here.

UofA has something for everyone. Profs can be hit or miss, but I've mostly had amazing ones. The campus itself is beautiful, really central, and degrees from here are valued (as it's one of the top schools in Canada).
Overall 4.8
U of Alberta is a hidden jewel on the Canadian Academic scene. 80% of my profs are great as academics, teachers and human beings.
Online courses were challenging for me and I'l happy to be back on campus and slowly getting back into the groove of learning with other people.

Your degree will be kinda useless cause they'll change the name and then raise the tuition while increasing class sizes.

This school is an institution that does not care about your children. They care about money. The end .
Overall 1.1
Worst experience of my entire life. Horrible university. Go if you want your life, wallet, and mental health to be slowly destroyed.
Overall 1.2
The only reason why their rated high and "best nursing school in Canada" is because of research.
Overall 1.3
Reputation is fine at the moment, but it is going to plummet. Some profs are great, but there are too many that are just terrible. My friend was assaulted by a homeless man on the campus, so safety is a 0. Internet is bad always. Facilities like the gym are small and overcrowded. Prices are abusive for books, and tuition is rising. Hate this school
Overall 1.3
HUB is getting dangerous due to proximity to the LRT. Tuition increase + defunding student services. Miserable experience all-around.
Overall 1.4
Not sure why anyone would wanna go here. University overcharges at everything, bad quality professors, one sided students union, but overall good Greek life
Overall 1.5
Not bad
Overall 1.5
The school wifi is really suck, you cannot even open chrome when you are at school, the download speed is like 20kb per second, you need half an hour to download a 10 mb file when you are at school. The librarys are dirty, there are flies everywhere in the library. There are five or six flies on a table. The library opens 13 hours a day only.
Overall 1.6
Awful professors in graduate studies. I definitely don't advise this uni for grad studies
