Great campus and great experiences!
Overall 5
Great campus. Plenty of Majors to choose from a smaller city. Yes you have to walk to class, your not going to get a great parking space everyday. There's other people in the world going to college besides you. Nothing to give a bad review about. Best landscape that I've seen at a campus. No problems with wifi. Plenty of food options.

I love the school! I am happy I chose it. The professors are very helpful and they will do what they can to see you succeed.

I really enjoy being on campus, I just wish there was more to eat and cheaper options because everything is so expensive when you can just drive to Walmart and get things almost half as cheap (But not all of us have the time to do that). But only having chick-fil-a, Subway, and Oath (Which isn't really that good) is saddening me.

Love UAFS!!
Overall 4.6
The teachers all seem to love what they do and care about the growth of their students. There's at least one event every week, and they're very diverse. There's clubs for everything you can think of. Housing is really nice, the dorms are new and modern. The school really is what you make it. Your experience WILL improve once you get involved.

I love UAFS! There are so many different opportunities to be involved on campus! There is constantly something new going on! I am a sophomore, and I wouldn't change my decision for anything!!

I want future students to know that University of Arkansas at Fort Smith has many opportunities to offer and it’s a beautiful campus! All of the professors are so helpful and kind which made me love UAFS even more! There are many resources that will help you become successful also but I would recommend UAFS to anyone!

A "meh" tier school. They offer a nice in-state tuition for residents barely across the OK border, which is nice. The MAIN issue with this college is the Computer Science department. There is one instructor in particular you will want to avoid at all cost, and that would be Mr. Andrew L. Mackey! Otherwise, it's just another college in Arkansas.

you get treated like freshman high school year all over again
Overall 1.7
This campus had the opportunity to be good but has never tried. The professors range from amazing to terrible. The terrible professors stick around no matter how bad they are. The fees go up every year and the tuition is still high. This place doesnt care about students, it only cares about students money. Drive 45 minutes north dont go here.
Overall 1.7
UAFS is viewed as the little brother of all the colleges in Arkansas. Fort Smith is already nationally ranked as the most unhappy place in the U.S. and UAFS matches that very well. My years here have done nothing but kill many aspirations and dreams, and I'm very happy to leave soon.

UAFS is beautiful! Sadly, there isn't much for the student body. If you want a college experience along with a college education DO NOT COME HERE. I am majoring in animation technology and I feel it has to be the worst major at this university. The professors are lazy, unhelpful, and know nothing about animation. Definitely consider other options.

Don't go here. Financial Aid may say you get this amount but the school only gives you part of it. And their answers for why, run you in circles. This school steels your financial aid. I transferred to a different school and they are giving me all my money that Financial Aid said I was awarded. (By giving me, I mean using for paying for school.)
Overall 1.8
The instructors are sub par. College is expensive and I feel the instructors make it darn near impossible to pass most classes; this isn't Harvard folks! Most issues I have had are instructors will lack of experience so they come on too strong. Most programs expect full-time as 16-17 hours instead of your normal 12 hour load. Shop around 1st!
Overall 2
Less students to attend because has a few good professors to teach. Most professors and staffs act to be professional but they are fake and pretend to do their own duties and they don't care about students struggle or any problems. This school will not be improve if they are sticking on what they are currently doing.

not that bad

Honestly the most boring place on earth. Would not recommend if you're looking for a university with tons of opportunities, constant activities or helpful advisors.
