I have been at this school for two years and have worked and studied here. The community is great and its easy to make friends. You are surrounded by trails and mountains so the view is always 10/10. The university is constantly improving study areas. There are an endless amount of resources to support you and I have always found new opportunities.

Great school and would recommend applying here.

I am so happy I chose UBCO to be where I pursue my dreams and aspirations! amazing beautiful campus for sure!
Overall 4.7
been here for 5 years. If you're not learning, having fun and eating well that's on you and not the university because the opportunities are endless at UBCO, Kelowna and the Okanagan Valley.
Overall 4.6
Great school!
Overall 4.5
Great school for someone who isn't sure about the life path to choose, lots of course options if you'd like to dip into another degree. Lots of study spaces not sure why that's a complaint here as there are 8 buildings that all have lots of seating, power, and are comfortable.
Overall 4.5
Great place! The only thing that went down through these years was the food places through campus. Some closed down and also the variety of food were not good.
Bad reviews
Overall 1.2
The rhetoric about being inclusive, considerate and caring about education could not be more contradicted. I have never seen an institution be so vocal about student health and educational opportunities yet exhibit behaviours and policies that are completely opposite. If you attend here, good luck. You have to fight tooth and nail to get anywhere.
Overall 1.4
UBC Okanagan recently switched from the SSC to workday which completely messes up students in a 5 year course plan or anyone taking a program that is not the standard 4 years. UBC has no care for its students in instead increases tuition constantly.
Overall 1.4
Made the switch to workday which completely messes up students taking a 5 year course plan or any program other than the basic 4 year one. The University has no care for its students in instead increases tuition constantly.
Overall 1.4
Only non admits from UBCV come here, so basically the rejects. If you want to build a career, don't come here at all.
Overall 1.5
There is a lot of talk about "inclusivity, diversity," etc. at this campus, but it's all image-oriented. Over half the students have food security issues. They send emails about how much they care, but there is no equity at this campus. Food options suck. Profs don't care. Campus is far. Weather sucks. Employee was killed on campus. Elitist.
Overall 1.9
Close-knit community but in terms of academics, food, and extracurriculars, it totally sucks. Safety is another issue that has come up recently, given that Kelowna is #2-3 in crime rates in Canada. Professors are there for research and not to teach. A lot of unnecessary endeavours which can be turned into something useful for students.
Overall 1.9
The only link between UBC Okanagan and UBC is just the name of the school. Trash location, nothing in Kelowna and the school is high in the mountain. Low quality of teaching and low quality of food in both the dining hall and restaurants in UNC
Overall 1.9
This school is not worth attending to. Its a waste of time, money, and energy because this school is a joke compared to the Vancouver one. the campus looks dead most the time, and the food is inedible and not affordable most the time. It will be your worst mistake to come here. Education is poorly constructed. Teachers are underqualified. Mistake.
Overall 1.9
I do not recommend going here unless you have no other choice. The internet is terrible and has gotten worse every year. I am an engineering student and the advisers are horrible. I know many people, including my self, who have had to take extra semesters because of the bad advice given by the advisers. Avoid UBCO, especially for engineering
Overall 2
Food sucks, no support from housing staff, teachers are hit and miss. Teachers are sometimes okay and sometimes really bad.
