A great school with many opportunities for students. The "socially dead" stereotype is untrue, and if you put yourself out there, you will have a great experience. Regardless of what school you attend, college is what you make of it.

This school is awesome. One of the best UC campuses without a doubt!

Bad reviews

They only care about research, they don’t care about students. Classes are made for you to fail since they teach things that have nothing to do with the tests. Pretty ridiculous honestly

Professors do not know what they are doing, they simply read from notes and appear to be confused most of the time. Do not attend crappy school

Can't wait to graduate from here, not sure how they pick professors but so far they have been unhelpful and pretentious, would not ever spend my money here again. UC name does not mean anything when the college only aims to grab as much money as they can from the students.

Glad I'm leaving ! For the 34-36k price tag you get a bad education, all of the colleges professors to choose from are terrible. My high GPA has more to do with my ability to dodge PHD's and their crazy grading policies, and less to do with my ability to learn, too many bad professors here that only care about their ego. UCSD "metrics" >

Homeless people assault students and have even broken into the dorm rooms. Professors are useless since they don't even do any of the grading. Workload is too much and turn around time is up in the air. This school is terrible and the students have been brainwashed to be workhorses and not have critical thinking. Internet is EXTREMELY spotty

Honestly, I regret coming to this school and it has in no way made any effort to care for its students. We're just money bags to Khosla
Overall 1.9
There is a reason why everyone calls the school "UC Socially Dead." People will try to convince you that that isn't true, it 100% is. Everyone at the university is extremely anti social and it is very hard to meet normal sociable people. The school's location is pretty awful if you don't own a car. Crime happens a lot, overrated university. -Alumni

Most disorganized University ever! Good luck getting help if you need it. Most "professors" (not the underpaid and underappreciated "lecturers" ) are completely reliant on TA's for grading all assignments. Unless you live on campus, this college is a logistical nightmare.
