Detroit Mercy is frickin tight!

UDM is a gem within an otherwise forgotten/neglected city. Don't let it's location deter you from ever considering this educational opportunity. The professors, their methods of instruction and the curriculum are top notch rated! Loved, appreciated, and grateful for the education received. Thank You!!!!!

The school is very nice. Private schools are crazy nice nowadays.

I have really enjoyed the small class sizes, this allows the professor to focus on who you are and not just a number. The teaching staff is wonderful with all students. The class work load isn't hard, but it sure makes you think. Students are easy to get along with, even though most of them are into their sports, I'm glad that I attended, UDMercy.

This is a great school with exceptionally intelligent group of professors.

I can't say enough about my school other than I have met the most wonderful and helpful professors that I have ever had the pleasure to meet. I would highly recommend UDM to everyone.

The area that the University is in has a bad rap, but I feel safe. I love the atmosphere here and the people on campus are nice. The faculty are helpful and understanding, the food changed again but it tastes a little better than what it used to be. Just wish we had more options on campus.

Great school!

Great school for the small community and smaller class sizes.

Dont get fooled by that scholarship that they offer to everyone and their mother ITS NOT WORTH IT. Outdated buildings, overpriced tuition, lack of staff and professors. The area its in is terrible for how much they love talking about helping out the city. I would only come here for dental but other than that its not worth your time.

This university is very depressing. The food gets worse year after year. The McAuley Nursing School really is not as great as it claims to be. The only thing that stands out about this nursing school is the terrible price. Nursing professors preach about compassion and empathy but half of them are condescending, rude and lacking empathy.

UDM will take your money and will leave you disappointed when you realize that your degree from UDM is not acclaimed because they don't provide good education. Professors and staffs are horrendous. Many classes are only offered once in a year. Very expensive university, don't drown yourself in debt. It is not worth it. Be smart. Scam University.

I am only a freshen and already transferring next year because I can't stand it here. There is nothing to do on campus and its in a horrible area. The dorms and horrible and the food is even worst. I stoped eating here and had to pack a weeks worth of food because the food is so gross. Don't come to this school you will regret it so much.

I hate my life. Applying to transfer.
Overall 1.3
In a really bad neighborhood. The whole campus has to be fenced in and there is very little to do. If you have a car you can get to some nicer areas to hang out pretty easily but theres nothing within walking distance. I didn't know about the school at all before moving to Michigan. Haven't met an alumni outside of school events.
Overall 1.4
The location surrounding the area is unsafe and if your planning on exploring the area there isn't much to it. The selection of teachers are little for even subjects like math and most have bad reputations, advisors here are also terrible and will give you terrible schedules. If your coming here for the social aspects I suggest you look else where.
Overall 1.5
I am transferring after my first semester. There is no social aspect, food is below average and if you have dietary restrictions there are no accommodations. Not many clubs available. Internet is always cutting out. Gym equipment is always broken. Nothing is catered towards the students
Overall 1.5
Such a boring school, nothing ever going on. Wish I would have went to a school that I would of actually had fun at. If you want just education then this is a good school. But, if you want to have fun and meet new people, go somewhere else. After my first year I'm already looking into transferring somewhere better.
Overall 1.6
It is not worth the overpriced tuition. They have very few professors in some departments. The issue with this is if you run into a problem with a professor from your department they don't have enough professors to where you could avoid taking any more classes with that professor.
