If you are able to come to UGA you have to. The student life is amazing with opportunities to go down whichever path fits your interests.

epic school. awesome.

Senior pre-med majoring in Public Health and I can say this is a fantastic school! Most people are very friendly, I reckon most poor reviews are due to the pandemic's effect; there is a place for everyone on campus just a matter of finding it. Professors are amazing, with few exceptions. Great student/life balanceCan make Good connections Go Dawgs!
Overall 5
Amazing people: friendly, warm, welcoming. There's a group on campus for everyone, its just a matter of finding it. A big campus with many places to explore. Administration could be a bit better. Fantastic professors, there are a few exceptions. The dining halls are solid with multiple options; the dorms are fairly cozy. Great student/life balance.

Great school with a wide variety of ways to get involved. There truly is something here for everyone!
Bad reviews
Overall 1.5
The city is centered around greek life, football, or church if those aren't for you UGA is very depressing.
Overall 1.7
This school does not care about returning students. They over-admit every year and didn't offer on-campus parking or housing to many returning students. There is hardly anywhere to study, and the teachers are very hit or miss.
Overall 1.7
Currently transferring out of here. Coming from out of state, UGA was hard to break into because it felt like everyone knew each other in a way they had a leg up coming in. This place is not for those wanting a big city experience or for those who take their academics extremely seriously. Working hard is not celebrated here unless you're well known
